Telogor Posted August 28, 2016 Share Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) It's been over 5 months, and the accuracy of the Sancti Castanas is still bugged with multishot. I can't test the regular Castanas, but I'd assume they're subject to the same bug. I can provide video if necessary, but it's really easy to reproduce. Equip multishot and throw a couple Castanas at anything other than point-blank range. The multishot projectile goes crazy. Also, while you're at it, could we get some buffs to the Sancti Castanas to make them competitive with the Talons? Right now, I see basically no reason to use the Sancti Castanas when the Talons have similar base damage, no accuracy bug, faster projectiles, larger mag, higher active bomb cap, etc. Edited August 28, 2016 by Telogor Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I wanted to pick them up again after quite a while and was surprised to see this happening as it completely denies their purpose. It's also strange how others, like Talons, aren't affected. Niche weapons shouldn't get discarded and overlooked because they're already only used infrequently. Thank you for being persistent about this. I was snooping around and heard that a low-rank Magnum force corrects the bug. I don't have a copy of the mod, but can someone confirm? In general, it kind of comes down to what you want to do with the weapon anyway; for real stealth, Talons will always be the better alternative due to not having a Syndicate blast messing everything up. Also, the new chained explosion makes stealth-killing heavier targets impossible with any thrown explosives which pretty much defeats their (main) purpose entirely.
