Viral damage is absorbed and converted to HP b. Infested enemies have their special auras disabled when in X meters from him c. Innate Viral proc chance on melee attacks d. Sliding leaves a trail of Infested fluids that deal Viral damage OR encumber and slows enemies down e. Like he'd have some sort of connection to the technocyte hivemind, the ability to mimic signals given off by larger infested forms like Lephantis or Golem. Had an idea of a infested warframe while looking at this thread. #1 ability, Throw a vial of spores (infested moa' spore) at enemies, and let it spread? #2 ability: Melee buff, +200% viral on melee hits. x% to cause a massive viral explosion (AoE) on enemy on hit. #3 ability: Infest an enemy unit into allied infested unit (Corpus unit infested into Runners/ volital runners) #4 ability: Spawn infested units at cost of health and energy (similar to juggernaut), level of spawned infested units scaled off slain'ed enemy' levels. Would this be the first Frame that wouldn't have Ferrite armor like the majority of Warframes do? Would it have Infested Sinew as its armor type? Would its base armor be decrepitly low (0?) and its health stat absurdly high (Inaros like or below) but to be supplemented with a passive to "gate" his health due to the low armor rating? If we just take the theme of the Warframe and conjure up a passive for them, we get crap like Oberon's, Titania's, Ember's, and pretty much half of the cast. They told us his full 1 2 3 4 abils in the PAX AUS. we just dont know the damage they do Replying to the thread; I think his passive should be increased damage of infested weapons by 25% so any wep in the infested labs, and the ones that have infestation on them that arent in the labs. Yes we know he got a shockwave type attack, a grenade that spawns stuff, and there are tentacles, and maggots. He has some CC and some damage. But that's every Warframe with a few exceptions. I'm saying to form actual good ideas, we need to see him in action to fully understand his powers and what passive would work. I've read all the ideas on this thread and I don't think they are bad, I just don't believe I can say if any would actually fit. But given how little thought DE seem to have put into the other passives, I guess whatever people suggest would be good enough. From the ability descriptions, Symbiotic Link seems to be the prime candidate for him opening his armor up to stretch his tentacles, or maybe whenever he casts abilities he writhes in infested pheromones like Nova Asuri and her arms. So I thought up a new passive: At 50% health and above, his carapace is sealed, increasing base armor.
