Warframe missing .exe despite reinstalling the game

Sure I read the title but couldn't you have at least put in a detailed description of the problem?

I'm just going to assume you're missing the shortcut to the launcher. You can, if you're running through client, go into the folder found at C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Warframe/Public

Or if not in public than in Dev. Copy and paste on your desktop as shortcut. DO not paste as copy, shortcut only.

Warframe doesn't have a folder in Appdata at all

Does that mean you have found the correct location, and gotten a shortcut made? Is it working?

@Ominethious

I think I found a different problem in the Launcher text file:

So are you actually running steam? Or client? You never told me, and it shows steam right up there in what you just pasted. I think I've seen that before and it shouldn't be a problem if I remember correctly.

Yes, I'm running steam. Ive tried to verify cache 4 times. Which the first time was 64 erroneous files, then 12, then it is now stuck at 2 files without repair.

Yeah none of that is important since your warframe isn't located in there even. Only thing you'd need in there is the EE.cfg and EE text document to send in on a support ticket if you ever got to that point. Steam should of made a shortcut, but if not you can just start warframe in your game libary by selecting warframe and clicking the play button.

I went to turn run as admin on for the launcher, it asked for a installation folder, it defaulted to one created today, and I didn't change it to the one in steam/steamapps/common...

Ah well did you change it to that one then? That would get you running again.
