Can we get a focus update?

Now that the quest is finished can we get a focus update? Focus was supposed to be a new system of progression for players. Even more so for vets who have maxed everything. I feel no more powerful or changed 7 months into focus farming (100k a day) than I did three weeks of focus farming to get the only two useful powers in the entire system. After spending tons of plat on lens (I know, it was a choice) I can say I feel it was a waste of both time and plat. Yes, no one forced me to do this. But I figured a focus update/rework would have come by now. And as far as I know, ignorance not withstanding, there isnt even any plans for it.

Feeling dejected. Trying to be constructive. Probably failing. Apologies.
