I'm sure that no one else is bothered by the inability and unwillingness to admit mistake. It's just me and my crazy expectations.

I'm sure that I'm the only one unable to connect their explanations to their design changes.

I would have just gone back and tweaked weapon stats. Perhaps that wouldn't sell boosters, but it would have done the job, nonetheless.
