Focus Power broken since Hotfix 19.0.3

edit: found a workaround, which falsifies most of my initial statements.

original post:

the latest hotfix breakes focus power control.

as host:
- operator gets activated every time you hold 5.
- operator gets activated every time you tap 5.

as client:
- operator gets activated every time you hold 5.
- focus gets activated every time you tap 5.

on death:
- behavior switches to host mode.

I'm having the same issue, but It seems more random than what you have at the moment.  I tried going into the simulacrum to test it, and for the most part holding 5 didn't work, but it did end up working only once after alt-tabbing out.  More testing might be required, but for now its pretty much broken for me

Okay...I think I got what's going on.

if your focus is full, tapping it uses the focus power.  Once you hold 5 the first time, however, it gets stuck on changing to your tenno.  Dying resets it

It also looks like the focus power's passive isn't working either.

hm...   you are right. focus power activation is all scrambled up. i can get the focus power activated (most of the time) by breaking my finger hammering the 5 key.

ps: testing in solo mode the focus passive is working (for now).

i did some experimentation and i found out:

enabling "invert tap/hold abilities" in the options menu breaks the focus power button to this ->

after opening/closing the escape menu:
- hold 5 to activate operator.
- tab 5 to activate focus power.

after activating/deactivating operator, it resets to:
- hold 5 to activate operator.
- tab 5 to activate operator. (this has a higher chance to bug out, spawning under floor for example)
