Twin Rogga melee disabling glitch

So I found that sometimes, when running a mission, I'd be unable to use melee and aim glide would also be disabled. I'd still be able to aim in midair, but the floating effect would be absent and I'd drop like a rock.

I wasn't sure what caused it at first, but I have since confirmed that this occurs if the Twin Rogga reload animation is interrupted by the melee keypress. An attack will not be made, but the reload animation will simply restart until allowed to follow through uninterrupted. Following this, attempting a melee attack at any point during the mission will begin the attack animation, but stop just before any frame that would have dealt damage. This can be especially seen during slam attacks.

 

Has this happened for anyone else?
