Conclave Desperately Needs a Server Browser

Title.

But really, without a server browser the experience is always going to be extremely half-basked - players roll terrible, unstable servers or servers in whole other regions of the world, and then because other people join in on them, those servers stay somewhat populated and everyone has a bad time.

With a server browser we could easily select a server with good ping and reputed stability - which would ideally play into the server "karma" system that @Witchydragon desires.

DE plz

Why would we need that when we only have 1 server, lol. It's region you're thinking about, since this is a peer2peer game ping is mostly dependent on the host and your internet unless the server lag then the whole world lag. And there is a "region" select, its in the option menu at the chat tab, it won't do anything to make your internet better, just change the location of the chat and people you connect publicly, people near you with different region can still connect to you with the same ping as before you change it.

Note: This is a Conclave thread.

Hell yeah we need a server browser – preferably one that can display games in all regions and modes in one list. Being able to tell at a glance where the action is at would be infinitely better than picking a region, picking a mode and then sitting through a loading screen hoping you don't end up in an empty server – then ending up in an empty server anyway and going through a second loading screen to get back to the Liset and start again.

The present server matchmaking appears to occur as follows:

Player A starts matchmaking for a Conclave game mode.
No available match is found in Player A's matchmaking region. (No ongoing sessions, or all ongoing sessions are full.)
The closest (by connection) server to the Player A is found and Player A is connected to that server.
When Player B starts matchmaking for that game mode, Player B finds and is connected to Player A's session.

This should not be.
It is frustrating for Player A to assess match availability, and Player B is at risk for extremely poor connections.
Instead, here is a revised matchmaking behavior:

Player A starts matchmaking.
No available match is found in the region.
Player A is not placed into any session. Instead, Player A receives a "waiting" notification in the Liset.
When Player B starts matchmaking, Player B finds Player A already waiting.
Players A and B are connected to a server that is optimal for them both.

Embarrassing.
This is Conclave Feedback.
Conclave has many player-hosted dedicated servers.

Honestly don't know why the servers weren't released with a browser.. Dedicated servers aren't whole lot of good if you just get thrown into random ones without an actual choice.

Exactly. The issue is particularly bad since individual lobbies persist on the same server as long as even one player remains in them. Being tossed into a rubbish server tends to have a much longer-lasting impact than it should because of this.

Today, I rolled the same awful server literally every time I joined Conclave. Why? Because lobbies were already seeded on it. I got to enjoy a selection of different enemies rubber-banding and jittering around, which made trying to aim with a precise weapon completely pointless.

Browser DE plz
