Whats up with Kuva Siphons? 18 runs without single one in row now.

Any ideas? Doing various mission in Sedna. Starting to regret that I bought 3 day resource booster. :7

Edit: Make it 21 now. Got first on 22th, not I can update ratio 22:1

The RNG is pretty painful. I was lucky though, I got two in less around ten runs and ended up with nearly 3k kuva.

The capture mission on the ship on Sedna is a good choice. Very fast, easy to spam.

Are you doing endless missions? They only spawn in non-endless mission with the exception of survival. Apart from that I recommend doing Rusalka which is the Sedna capture mission node. Capture missions are the fastest mission to complete but unfortunately it is not uncommon that you need to do multiple runs before they spawn.

Nope, not endless ones, mainly capture and exterminate.

Have you forsaken RNGesus recently? For really, as long as you are doing this on high enough level Grineer tile sets the only reason is bad luck.

kuva should be normal part of  materials drop on sedna... so ppl dont need to spend 1 day to get some like now

 Just rng, had to spam rusalka 10 times before I got one so I just solo nezha w/ a tigris p to make things go by as fast as possible.

Never had problems with this, I usually start as solo and out of 10 runs I got 7 of them, got 4k kuva fairly easy.

I remember someone saying that the chance is 1/3 for one player, but all players have to roll 1/3 if in a group, reducing the probability with each player.

Make sure you are exploring the level.  You will only see the red tint and HUD info for a Kuva Siphon if you are within 1-2 tiles of the siphon.  

If you're speed running captures then finding the escape target's capture room in addition to the exit is usually good enough to get one every 3-5 runs.

It doesn't matter how many players in the squad, chance is the same.

Sounds like you had someone on the team who hasn't done the main quest. Kuva won't spawn in that case. I ran rusalka last night 10 times and it spawned 5/10
