TWW Broke The Focus Ability

I've noticed after completed TWW that, if i try to use Zenurik, the Operator exits the Warframe. I can press 5 to do that, but the focus ability is now unusable. Hopefully DE will fix this? Not fun

hold 5 to use focus, hold 5 again to end it early

You need to HOLD 5 in order to activate your Focus ability, now. Are you sure you have tried that?

No not yet, i'll give that a try. Thanks. Still, seems like an unnecessary pain in the bumb - why didn't they make it press 5 to exit Warframe and leave the focus ability as is? Doesn't make any sense to me

Because that's an extra button, and for those of us who use a controller, buttons are precious.

 

edit: though I suppose an option toggle 'hold to use focus skill' would satisfy both parties.

Basically what everyone else says, you hold down 5 and if you want to ended it sooner you just hold 5 again.

Also theres an option in keybinds to swap hold/tap for powers

There is actually some kinda issue with Focus powers if you're Operator dies. (I think it's when they die)

I've had multiple occasions where Zenurik Energy gains simply stop working and even if I reuse my Focus power there will be no effect.

It's simply dead for the duration of the mission.

Because sometimes you need to use 5 to get in and out of your Warframe more often. You use focus once every five minutes.

if you had to hold 5 to use the operator it would be extremely clunky.

That breaks it. If you're not the host, you won't be able to activate focus at all unless you turn the invert option off.

Even w/o reading the patch notes I still figured it out in seconds... if the old way to activate focus was pressing it and it was now changed to the operator button. Trying to hold down 5 was common sense

Thanks guys, i didn't know how it worked but now that i've been using it, it seems more smooth than the old way. Much better
