Don't be this one guy please. (Maybe spoilers)

For starters i am really sorry but this topic is really pretty much just my rants with hopes people can get what am i pointing out here.

I was in a squad with my friend, and since my friend's the host, he's the one who have control of the matchmaking. Usually we just stroll around in friends only, but we wanted to rush and make the kuva farming process more smooth, so we set it to public. Random people start going in and out. When i had my kuva sufficient to reroll my dread riven, i rerolled it, and in the midst of the rerolling animation, this one guy in the squad (idk who that was) started the map, and started the timer without waiting my acceptance. The reroll animation is done, i got a far better stats for the dread, and then i dont have enough time to press accept the reroll (or whatever it says when you done the reroll), just like that, i lost my kuvas and wasted 1 time reroll making it more expensive, and lost the stats that i loved.

So please, please, please, please. DONT BE THIS ONE IMPATIENT GUY. you could just ask if you're wondering what are they doing, the squad chat is there for a reason. And then the map voting system is there FOR a reason too! What are you gonna do with those extra few seconds you saved by starting the timer anyway?

TLDR : If you're playing public, please wait for all member to accept the vote. Don't start the timer by your own.

How was that guy supposed to know? Loads of people afk on their liset, it's the main reason people start the timer. Some of them don't even know they're in a squad because of that weird joining thing you get when clicking nodes.

If you want them to wait, tell them, or better yet, do your important stuff before or after you group up with randoms.

I am aware and i admit that i got a little too excited by going straight to doing that, but then personally i think it's more considerate to leave the squad and find theirselves a new one rather than dragging all the members to go just because they need to rush. Again, this is more of a rant post than a notice, it's really egoistical of me. I am really sorry. Can't think clearly when you just lost something you find great without being able to do anything but see it go away just like that...

The other guy was in the wrong.
Starting the Timer without asking your squad wether everyone is ready is just bad manners.

you wouldn't want someone to start the timer in a fissure mission before you can equip a relic.
or before you could change gear.

Starting the timer is only acceptable when someone told you they are going afk, or when someones vote glitched out and they ask you to start it

Do NOT start the timer without communicating with your squad

SO, I feel bad you lost kuva and the potential for an incredible roll.  Although, if you're running missions for kuva that is quick and deadly to farm, you need to expect the timers to be started.  Many people get the bug where they cant accept the mission or, even if they click repeat mission it automatically starts the timer.

If there are stipulations for pugs when they join your grp, the start of the mission is the time to announce them.  Otherwise the assumption is kill all the things as fast as possiblean then rinse and repeat.

Hope your experience with the Warframe community goes better.

Not to sound mean but I think instead of ranting about some crappy thing that happened to you, maybe post constructive criticism of the new reroll system in feedback. If they know this is an issue that has and will continue to happen they'll try to make a safeguard to help stop it from happening to someone else in the future.

Your concern is legitimate, what happened sucks, I don't deny that.

Common sense dictates you should have dropped squad though. I know when I'm doing Kuva runs we start the timer as soon as the loading screen lets us unless someone specifically says to wait. I assume everyone is trying to get as much Kuva as quick as possible.

Disagree. Sometimes I've had to start the timer because we've sat there waiting with no communication from the seemingly absent party.

Standard procedure I've had is to wait for a bit but then proceed. However, usually the party who wants to do something says so in chat. So to be honest it would've helped the Op if they said something in chat and/or really avoid doing anything important.

No one is in the wrong here,

They guy was impatient and didn't wait for you to ready up, and you didn't take the time to inform him that you were going to do something that could take a minute or two, Nothing could've been done in your situation except learn from your mistake and inform your teammates that you need some time, and hope that that person learned from his mistake and next time he waits the minute or 2 till you ready up.
