Transmuting Rivens

What would people think about being able to transmute riven mods? I wouldn't think that transmuting 4 to get a new one would be very enticing, but if you could trade in 2 or 3 mods to get a fresh riven, would you want this as a feature? Transmuting it would give you a riven for a new weapon as well as reset the trial and the reroll counter, so it could be pretty useful for a chance at getting a riven for a weapon you would want, or getting rid of ones you will never use.

 

P.S. for those of you who have a riven for the deth machine rifle, I am truly sorry for your loss.

only if you are guaranteed a riven from doing so, unlike the BS we have now with transmuting. "cool, lets use 4 rare mods...... and i get an ammo drum..."

Transmuting Rivens are fine IMO, as long as Rivens are the result.

yes, Transmuting 4 Rivens into another Riven would be very nice to have.
obviously guaranteed to get a Riven.

Can imagine the salt when someone transmutes 4 riven mods and gets either one of the same things he transmuted or something worse.    However, if they are not sell-able for plat (ie nobody wants them) its better than selling for credits.   So think it should happen, though only if 4 Rivens will guarantee a Riven mod.
