[Spoilers] TWW New System Suggestions

They are spoilers in this thread from The War Within, so if you don't want to be spoiled please leave now.

The new operator system is pretty sick but needs to be polished, here are some of my ideas.

Operator Mods:
Our operators are pretty weak at the moment and don't have that much survivability. Currently our operators only have 100 health no shields and armor, let's change that. After The War Within is completed you will get a mod section and can mod your operator as you can as your Warframe. You're probably asking yourself are they going to use the same mods as your Warframe, no you won't be able to. The mods will drop from the new enemies on the Kuva Fortress tileset.
The mods will consist of these(don't know about the names):
- You will be able to run 25% faster
- Mtore Health
- No Fall Damage
- The ability to roll

The ability for our operator to use the Broken Scepter:
We currently have two broken weapons. We had the broken scepter in our hands in The War Within and we can only use it on our Warframes. I really do think that is actually really not fair. It's a really fun weapon and I've used it a lot already but, it would be cool instead to have it on our operators and can only be able to use that only weapon plus our current abilities. Plus it would make the operator live a little more than they do because how you can drain health from dead enemie and would heal the operator is big plus. I don't know about this one but it's just an idea c:

Abilities for our Operator:
We only have a few abilities currently for our operators that we got from The War Within. There are 5 focus trees and 4 abilities for each focus tree, which is 20 new abilities. The four abilities for each focus tree depends on what focus tree you have equipped.
- Zenurik can give you faster energy regeneration for your operator and so on.

The would give our operators a lot of abilities in one.
The operator abilities we would have after The War Within:
- Our current focus tree from The Second Dream
- Our new void abilities from The War Within
- Four new abilities for each focus tree

That's a lot of abilities and maybe people would use the operators more than what we use them for now.

These are just a couple of my ideas and would love to see what you guys think ^-^

What we currently can do:

Spoiler

-Pick up any item, like power cells, and keep them through transference. This allows you to carry twice the power cell than before.

-Loot everything, including health/energy orbs, but not Affinity.

-Use anything with a use key on it, except interacting with companions and the Arsenal.

-Revive other players.

-Hack terminals.

What we should be able to do:

Spoiler

-Using our Warframe's mods and stats, (health/shields/armour combined then divided by 3 becomes Tenno Void shielding) the Tenno would gain a strong, EMP-resistant shield and have their powers augmented by Warframe power mods.

-Mastery Rank factors into the Tenno's initial traits.

-The Tenno would be able to craft a wearable item that would fit the Warframe slot when a Tenno accesses the Arsenal (which opens a 'Tenno arsenal' section instanced from the Warframe's), a necklace with a Focus Lens embedded. The little ornate object mounted onto this wearable item would have the Focus School that the lens is for imprinted onto it. This would allow the Tenno to gain Focus Experience for the School the necklace's lens is for.

-Focus School of choice will massively augment Tenno Void powers (i.e: Unairu makes Void Pulse-beam petrify foes, Void Blast creates a Tectonic barrier, and Void Dashing through enemies petrifies them; Tenno can now punch with rock-gloves).

-The Tenno will be able to borrow their Warframe's Sentinel and Sidearm, or with the Tenno Arsenal section, equip a Sidearm (1-handed variants ONLY, with exception to thrown). Dual-held sidearms would get half ammo, but twice the damage due to the Tenno taking only one.

-The Tenno can now crouch without using Void Mode, roll, slide, and climb.

-The Tenno can hover in the air by holding [JUMP], but this costs energy.

-The Focus Schools unlocked will allow the Tenno to swap out power augments and the Focus passive bestowed.

-Tenno powers will be rebound to Warframe power keys (1, 2 and 3); 'default' melee is a less costly Void blast that knocks enemies back; current version given massive damage buff and will put enemies into an exposed state once they get blasted, making the Void pulse-beam instantly slice them when applied. Four power will be the Tenno Focus power, where the Warframe would briefly collapse. However, power 1 will be a new power dictated by each Focus School.

-Tenno would use the Warframe's sidearm as a pseudo-primary, and their 'sidearm' would be the Void Pulse ability. Their new 1st power would be an activatable temporary passive that would amplify Void Beam and Void Blast's damage output, but at a cost of energy while this power is active.

-Tenno can now be in the downed state instead of directly being forced into the Warframe.

-Warframes, after War Within, and if the Tenno isn't in them, will not die immediately, but resort to their downed state and can be revived by you at the usual Affinity Cost. Transference can now be activated when the Warframe is downed, allowing you to revive yourself externally.

-Warframes get a new mod you can slot into the Aura mod slot. This allows them to take orders from the Tenno (using the empty Gear wheel, which would now be filled with equipped Ciphers, Specters and Scanners), simple ones such as 'go here', 'attack here', or otherwise.

-Tenno can now aim-glide and latch to walls, but when on walls, you'll actually start slipping instead of sticking to the same place until suddenly dropping.

This reinforces the fact that the Tenno Transference Suit cannot be modified directly, but can be 'imprinted' upon by the Warframe, Focus, and even sidearm of choice. Additionally, the Tenno would now be capable of unleashing their full potential through these alterations.

Not all of these changes are needed, but the ones that are the most important are:

Spoiler

-Tenno can now use sidearms, gear items (ciphers, scanners, and specters). They can also now melee their foes with Void-sheathed hands/gloves; this attack is altered by Focus School.

-Tenno will gain shields based on Warframe's survivability stats and mods (health/shields/armour merged and then divided by 3) that cannot be removed with the magnetic proc. These are amplified by Mastery Rank.

-Tenno powers are improved based on the Warframe's power-related mods, Focus Schools grant unique augments and adjustments to all the powers and one new power, Mastery Rank boosts potential damage.

-Tenno will have basic mobility (roll, slide, climb and crouch) along with aim-gliding, wall latching, and 'Void-lifting' which boosts the jump further the longer it's held, but drains energy to do this.

Also, the only 'new' enemies are the Kuva Guardians and Jesters. The others are just generic Grineer with weapons we haven't seen generic Grineer using before (Kohm, anyone? ).

I second this Idea!

I'm sorry, but Operator mods are a terrible idea. They just need to be able to level up like Warframe, Kubrows, and Kavats for more health and energy. You can eliminate fall damage by using Void Mode. A mod that gives you the ability to do something as basic and simple as a roll would be an absolutely terrible idea. Their sprint speed is fine. DE has to fix the bug that prevents clients from being able to sprint.

Those are things that they absolutely need. They can already climb to my knowledge, but rolling, sliding, and crouching should be things that we need. Aim-gliding, Wall-latching, and ETC are a no to me. Tenno shouldn't be able to do every special maneuver the Warframes can do.

I don't think we should use weapons, that just doesn't seem fitting. Tenno should be all about harnessing raw void energy and using that to its full potential - not just being weaker + less mobile versions of the warframes running around with swords and guns.

We should get more varied + stronger abilities and more energy, and practical upgrades like health and higher agility.

I think at the very least they should be allowed a melee weapon, but can't do any stance combos. Some melees could be restricted. I mean they did try to punch Teshin in the face before he did that cool elbow move on us. Perhaps Teshin can train the Tenno more.
