So How does Breeding Work ( Kubrow imprints)?

The title is pretty much my question. I have bulky lotus Huras Kubrow but it color is pretty dull as you can see. Now just recently through a random incubation I got this fella and i noticed that he is gold. So my question is should i risk it and cross breed them and is their any specific ways of doing it like which imprint goes first or any other factors? Plus if it is a success then what price will he sell for?

So that it their no tricks or factors to think about? Is it just really a random combination of the two?
