Rank 16-17: Kill 30 enemies within a time limit

Hi Guys, I know there's a lot of problems with this mission with time and so on but has anyone come across this problem of either no mobs or way points in either practice or actual test. I can run around and just watch the timer disappear without a single objective point or marker.
