Mag Corporon Skin (Status: Early Sculpt)

I'm thinking of designing a Mag skin based on the Corpus. Here's a small concept sketch, any thoughts on it?

As somebody who enjoys both Mag and the Corpus, and is trying to make her Mag look like the modular Corpus, I can appreciate this.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm planning to create a few more sketches before I start modeling, to explore more possibilities, and see what specific features people would like to see in the design.

I've done a few more designs, including some helmet concepts. The first is inspired by proxies, the second by crewmen, and the third is a composite.

Out of the four designs so far, which do you like most? And would you prefer a reskinned helmet or an original helmet design?

So, should I sculpt my own helmet for Mag or just modify the original? And if I do go for a sculpted helmet do you want to see the dome helmet, box helmet, or engine helmet? (All shown in my last post.)

Hm, I rather like both the Proxy style custom helmet and the Crewman themed skin. I'd certainly use them if I could. Hard to decide though!

Well then, I think I'll start work on a crewman-style skin, then we'll decide later whether to sculpt a new helmet or not.

I hope this goes far beyond the planning stages, it seems like just the thing I'd be interested in.

The crewmag look seems quite nice if I may say so myself. I do enjoy some of the more simple designs. Can't wait to see how the project turns out.

Thank you! I use Sculptris for sculpting, because as far as I've heard Blender isn't as good at it.

I hope so! I admit I have already started thinking of which other frames might look good with a Corpus skin.
