Prime Vault Announcement

I saw the post regarding Ember Prime and Frost Prime returning from the Vault on Dec 6,

Was there a post somewhere stating what Primes are being retired to the Vault this time around so I can target them in the next few days?

There won't be any more Items entering the Vault anytime soon if i may say so, we just had some Items retire earlier this Year.

The next vaulting shouldn't be until Banshee Prime (or whoever ends up being next) is about to come out, which won't be soon as Valkyr Prime was just released. 

 

However, the next set to be vaulted would be predictable. I don't know off the top of my head but it would be whatever frame/set of weapons was released after Loki Prime and Sicarus Prime and such I think?

the next frame to be vaulted will be volt but that one be for another couple months when the next new prime is released

 

when we get a vault unsealing its just a month of us having new relics with old stuff, nothing really special about it besides that

Haha reminds me of what a sad PA that was. A primed archwing no one wanted and no new prime weapons. I think that is one vaulting that will go over as a total snore to most people.

I love Volt. Doesn't change the fact that it was still a disappointing PA for many people. No new weapons, and the least used archwing as a prime. 

I don't think anyone is going to miss Odonata Prime lol. 

And Volt is fairly popular because he is a starter, but beyond that he actually isn't all that popular. Volt Prime sets have never gone for much, even when he was new.

Primes don't go into the vault during special vault openings, only when a new prime is released, such as how Nova was just vaulted to make room for Valkyr. Ember and Frost relics will be added on top of the drop tables that already exist, and no prime will be vaulted until a new one comes out.

Volt is popular because he's a starter frame. Volt Prime is not popular because he's just not good enough for higher levels. He was my first Prime and is still my most used frame overall, but I barely ever use him anymore unless I really need to speedrun some easy mission or boss.

Awesome to know, so I should buy relics NOW if I already have Ember Prime and Frost Prime, since the only thing happening on Dec 6 will be the E and F Relic series will be added to Syndicate relic caches.

Unvaultings just add more relics of the rereleased frames and weapons. If you were around for Mag's unvaulting back in July, you'd remember nobody was put in the vault for her, as unvaulting's are time limited. The next unvaulting will not be until either Banshee or Mirage Prime.

Volt is actually very used and very popular warframe.I use him a lot and I see him all the time in random team missions and it is not used by beginners only.His usage is much higher than lot of other warframes as I seen.

Price of Volt P set was somewhere around 150-180 platinum before relic system which was mid-high price at time.So it's not true that Volt set was always cheap.Same thing happened to Volt Prime as it did to Trinity Prime.

You are right about Odonata tho.But as all other vaulted stuff ,it's price will be very good over time.

LOL where are you getting your numbers from? I remember reading the popularity numbers DE has released the last few times, and Volt's only popularity was because he is a starter. Most people don't keep him as their main or use him much in stuff like sorties later. 

For a prime Volt has simply never been valuable. Maybe you saw people trying to sell it for that, but realistically Volt Prime Sets barely go for even 50p and haven't for some time now. Volt was never that desired a Prime. I remember because I was one of the people trying to farm and sell him at the time he came out. His BP and Sys were incredibly hard to get and yet while you would see people throwing out high prices on trade chat, there were very few takers. 

Once you get past the early game, Volt usage dies off dramatically. But more to the point, most of those who want Volt Prime already got him some time ago and got him very easily. I know of people who have been selling Volt Prime SETS for 25p. If he were as popular as you say that would not be happening. He will go out with a whimper.

Speak for thyself, Odonata Prime is my go-to when I am forced to actually play Archwing beyond my Titania's pixie form.

I'm a Volt fan so I just can't agree.I play Warframe every day for 2 years now and I see him played by me & other players all the time.To be more precise:

-Volt is most present in Kuva farming before and after all the changes to it.And all capture,exterminate,sabotage missions,fissure ones in particular.

-I use Volt cc in Sortie missions all the time.In my opinion it is one of the best to do any kind of missions.Stops all enemies in map and casts ult all the time with high eff even if condition is energy reduction.

-Raid teams (lor)use Volt for speed to do it quick as possible

-Doing Maroos Ayatan missions (parkoor) is easy with him.

- He is one of melee masters and best when upgrading those weapons,heavy melee  weapons in particular,cause melee attack speed benefits from his Speed ability.

So these are his roles in some lets say more serious missions.You can't claim he is bad just because you don't or don't know how to use him or even don't like him for that matter.

Also DE in whatever statistics they shared wouldn't state that Volt is used more only because he is starter warframe.I see beginners choosing Mag and Excalibur more over Volt.

No primes will be vaulted when ember and frost prime return, they will be unvaulted for a month then re vaulted again i'm guessing 6th of december  - 6th of january

the problem is here is ' I use ' your personal opinion / statement doesn't mean hes a popular frame for CC people would use nova prime over him, for agility missions pretty sure people just use pixie form. The only thing that really makes him unique is speed, since if you want shields trinity if you want CC nova, ember, mirage so many other popular choices as a player I hardly ever see volt prime ever.

You are missing the point. You can throw anecdotal evidence at me until the end of time but it doesn't change the facts. Even for a starter Volt is not the most popular, as you stated, and beyond that his popularity falls off a lot. 

How often do you see Volt in Raid? In LOR? LOL. Most groups do not want a frame like Volt in LOR at all. In sortie? Hardly anyone ever brings Volt to a sortie, or to anything really hard. 

Yes, Volt has his advantages, I personally love him. But that doesn't make him popular. Volt's stats show he isn't used all that much, and that's even WITH him being a starter, see what I'm saying? 

I'm not saying there is something wrong with maining Volt, liking Volt, or using Volt. Whether others like him or not shouldn't change your enjoyment or lessen your enjoyment of Volt at all -- but he just isn't that popular. 

I feel like after stating that Volt isn't very popular I have a lot of Volt mains getting defensive. I didn't say your frame was bad, or that you shouldn't enjoy maining him. Popularity isn't a metric of how worthwhile something is -- it's just a fact that has to do with how much people use that frame. 

Who cares if it is popular if you enjoy it?
