For Anyone Having "update Failed! Cannot Find The Warframe Executable. The Update Will Be Restarted Shortly..."

This is written for Windows Vista/7, I'm not sure how the menus will look on other OS's.

Also thank you to DECaio for helping me figure this out. This may not work for everyone but I hope it helps some people.

 

1. Go to where you have Warframe files located, for me this is

 

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warframe

 

2. Right click on Warframe.exe and click on properties, then go to the "compatability" tab. At the bottom you should see a checkbox under "Privilege level" called "Run this program as an Administrator." Check this box and hit OK

 

3. Repeat step 2 for Launcher.exe in your Tools folder, and Warframe.x64.exe if you have it, in the same folder as Warframe.exe

 

4. That's it, hope it helped!
