Why does everyone hate the PvP alert

You keep using the word "time" as a platform for your arguments.  It was never about time, it was about it being there as a main event in the first place. It is the PVP experience that people did not want whatsoever. Do you even like PVE? You sure are bashing it something fierce. Well, the rest of us like Warframe's PVE just fine.

And yes, when game devs start taking a wrong turn and people don't complain, games can potentially go from bad to worse. Nothing straw-grasping about that, that's called history.

This game is all about time and most of the arguments came back to wasting it doing the match. Certain mods aren't even touched because it increases time to kill. Vacuum rework was despised because it meant they needed to take time to run over to the resources. Nitain is much hated resource because time walls. Saying time isn't involved is missing the bigger picture. Or that the mechanics that are present in pve don't impact pvp. That wonky scythe animation is the exact same one pve has.

Seeing something's faults doesn't mean you hate it. Most people can't get past the honeymoon phase and don't want anything to be touched. And history has shown exactly what their intentions have been. This was the only alert of it's kind and their last major update to pvp was lunaro. Yeah I get people didn't like it, but the novelty should be praised instead of raising pitchforks and riling people's fears. Completely removing it will only magnify the rest of the game's failings. Doing squats over someone is just as easily done in pve.

Because when you go to McDonalds you are expecting to eat that burger and fries, no one is happy when they are forced to add salad on their plate.
