The Hub (OPEN, IC)

The Hub is, essentially, everything the Relays aren't. The refuge of illegal merchants, thieves, assassins, and anyone on the wrong side of the law. A massive station, hidden in an asteroid cluster, it's both in the thick of things for the criminals of the system, and out of the way of the major powers. Anyone on the run from those they angered or deserted will find refuge in the Hub eventually. The whole station had enough of a government to stave off complete chaos.

Endless dimly-lit corridors lined with stores and living spaces, the place isn't exactly welcoming, However, criminals find themselves at home. One can find somewhere to live quite easily, although quality is an important variable. Let's leave it at that.

Rules:
Combat isn't exactly frowned against, but nearby people often pick sides.
Try to be polite. Don't do anything you wouldn't do elsewhere on the forum.
Keep the OPness to a minimum. That means you.

Introduction:
An Excalibur walked down a crowded corridor wearing a long cloak, hiding all distinguishing features, and making it difficult for people to notice he was indeed a Tenno. The only thing that gave him away was the chipped Edo shoulder guard on his right arm, and an Avalon Helmet with a cracked horn-thingy (I don't know). The people got out of the way of the Excalibur, out of fear and respect. He had been on the station for several months. He wasn't a normal Tenno, as he was certainly no law-abiding mass murderer. He was something of a vigilante, commonly ending fights on the station with little effort or damage.

He walked into a bar. Inside, a crowd surrounded two people smashing eachother's teeth out. He walked through the crowd. Within moments, he had snapped the arm of one of the two brawlers, and judo-thrown the other one on his face. He walked out moments later. Everyone stared at the silent cloaked figure who had left these two broken and on the ground. He left the bar, and walked down the same corridor. He came to an elevator, taking it to the closest thing to the top floor of the station. Upon disembarking the elevator, he made his way into a circular room with windows for walls, looking out into the asteroid cluster. There were many small ships moving around, approaching and leaving the Hub. The room was full of people hunched over control consoles.

"Uh, hey, man. What are you doing here?" Asked one of the people in the room.

The Excalibur merely walked into the center of the room, looking at the windows in every direction.

((Is it cool if I just place my guy in the bar, or should I have him enter via ship or something?))

A grineer in red and grey armor looked up from his drink.

"Another Tenno taking his bad day out on everyone else," J'Taav chuckled to himself.

(Sure, go ahead.)

The two defeated brawlers limped off to different medbays.

"That wasn't an especially angry Tenno." Said the bartender. "That was the closest thing we have to law enforcement in this Gaben-forsaken station."

Through the windows, the silehoet of a Scimitar could be seen approaching the hub. Faint flickers of green could be seen reflecting off of its prisma coated hull.

One of the people sitting at a console contacted the ship.

"Don't you seem a little fancy for a backwater station like this?" He said sarcastically.

"You'd probably be right about that. This is Tenno transport Vigil Sovereign requesting permission to dock."

"Sure, whatever. Find an empty docking area or vacant, and someone should help you. Or they'll try to mug you." Said the person on the station. He clearly wasn't concerned about any protocol.

There was a mostly empty hangar visible from the Tenno ship.

"Roger that." The voice replied.
The Scimitar made its way towards one of the empty Docks, latching on as it's engines began to spin down.

The magnetic docking system automatically secured the ship. They would likely disengage automatically when the engines were activated on the ship.

"Huh," J'Taav said, taking a sip of his drink, "And here I thought the point of coming here was to escape law enforcement."

The cargo door rotated open, revealing the Silver and Sage trimmed Vauban as it stepped into the hub.

The surrounding area was covered with many docking areas. Toward the other side of the large hangar was a cluster of elevators. The other few people in the hangar were clustered around docked freighters, likely trading illegal goods.

Wish I had Svytoj here for back up...

"It helps to have at least a few people keeping order here and there. Trust me. Without him and whatever vigilantes happen to be on the station at the moment, this place would be floating debris by now."

The people talking to each other noticed the Tenno, and became extremely cautious. Moments later, a vaguely familiar voice came over this hangar's intercom system.

"Zaish, you don't have to act all cautious all of a sudden. I've been listening to your conversation for the last five minutes. Also, Zaish, the current price of Raska Kubrow nutritional supplements is 900 credits per pound. Don't let him cheat you here. You're smarter than this." Said a rough, tired voice that would sound familiar to the Vauban.

Someone walked up to the bar, wearing the jumpsuit of a Red Veil operative. Almost everyone in the bar glared at him as he looked at the bartender, clearly about to ask him something.

((Knowing that you prefer Suda, I'm expecting this guy to be literal scum, with no redeeming qualities. XD))

J'Taav said nothing, simply listening in on whatever the operative was about to say.

Where do I know that voice from?
The Vauban made his way into the elevator, pressing one of the buttons near the top of the console.

"I'm looking for a Tenno. An Excalibur." Said the Operative. "He's wanted dead by Red Veil."

Moments later, three different people in the bar stood up, raising pistols at the Operative. The bartender stood with his arms crossed.

"There's only one Excalibur here. And if you want him dead, you should leave before I have to clean your brains off the counter."

The elevator took him to a floor endlessly branching corridors lined with shops for everything imaginable. That elevator likely wouldn't take him to the highest levels of the station. However, there was another cluster of elevators visible about 500 meters down the center corridor.

They all went to the same parts of the station. However, only one was currently available, as the other ones were on different floors.

The ride took about 45 seconds, and the elevator wasn't exactly slow. At the top, a circular windowed room full of people hunched over consoles was revealed as the elevator door opened. Standing at the center was a figure with a hooded cloak draped over him and a chipped Edo shoulder plate. There was a broken prong on top that likely belonged to an Excalibur Avalon helmet. Flashes of gold, likely from Prime weapons.

"What do you mean you didn't tag the Vauban?" Asked the Excalibur, not noticing the Vauban. He had the familiar voice the Vauban had heard earlier. However, the voice was also quite rough, as if his throat was hurt or damaged.
