On Death Feedback

Right now, on death, all the looser gets is a movie of their corpse flopping over and the winners having fun.

That helps them learn that they are a looser, and that other people are having fun at their expense.

That's fine if you want to keep the losers losing, but eventually they will go play a mode where the know why they lost and can learn to get better.

If  you actually want them to learn, then the game needs to show them what happened BEFORE the death.

So, instead of the skippable 6 seconds of watching others have fun, how about two skippable 3 second replays:

Both would be the last 3 seconds before they got died, with the winner and them highlighed like codex scanners, against a greyed-out environment, showing the winner's control inputs at bottom center screen.

First from the loser's POV then from the winner's.

That lets the player know what they missed, and what a loser looks like so they can be a winner someday.

Seems legit. A kill cam would be nice.

Okay, I kill a player with my melee weapon. He reads on his screen:

"W Shift+D Ctrl+Space bar E E W Shift+A RMB  E E E Spacebar Spacebar Shift+D E RMB E E E 2 Ctrl+Spacebar E E E"

It would be like trying to understand AOO or Grappling on a Tabletop game: Starts with a simple premise and then morphs into a coagulating pool of madness.
