Considering the update hits tomorrow... Which for them is in ~8-16 hours, Yea I don't think they have the time to make other weapon variants.

Or rather, the entirety of continuous weapon mechanics needs to be looked at, imo.

They are not good vessels for procs, due to A) low status per ammo, B) no effect from multishot, and C) oh yeah, procs applying only on damage chunks.
With a single exception (Quanta/Vandal), they all have terrible ammo economy, due to low damage per ammo, high RoF, or -most often- both.
Pretty much none of them are crit-viable (which would be a bandaid for terrible ammo economy, not a solution - as shown with the Amprex, which still suffers from poor ammo economy despite redcrits).

(And the glaxion has that beam-wiggle thing...)
