Reconnecting to a mission makes you lose XP

Hi guys.

Long story short, I maxed two mastery fodders I used in Heiracon at around 3.5k Cryotic (I started with Ohma at around lvl 13 and Telos Akbolto at around lvl 16), when I suddenly got disconnected (NV) ("Connection to the host lost, taking you back to main menu") and then was logged out ("Failed to connect to server, you will be logged out"). I got back in easily into the squad, but when I checked, all my XP was gone. (rewards persisted though, I think,). A squadmate said it might come back after we extracted, so we played until we reached 4k, then extracted. And, nope, I didn't get it back.

Although I'm a bit hurt over the lost XP after an hour or so of playing, it's nothing that 20 waves of Akkad can't solve. I just want to report it, as if I remember it happened to me twice already (The first time I was using maxed weapons, I noticed the loss through the lens' XP but didn't mind it.)
