Orthos P fully extended in the waning daylight, Mia drives her gold and white polearm hard into the rooftop she`s flying over as if she was staking a claim. Swinging herself out of her bullet jump, as her feet is about to touch down the Nyx P pulls her melee weapon out of the roof, torques her body horizontally and swings one-handed at the redirected rounds, a good amount heading back towards the monochrome wisp's predicted flight path while the rest flew to the outer edge of the settlement.

Aria slides down and over another building, sparks flying behind where her feet claws grind over the rooftop. Just as she slips behind a large chimney, the Soma P hanging on her right shoulder takes aim at the puppeted sniper's general direction before firing a six round burst. The shots go wide, flying well above sniper's head...or they would have before their arcs are completely redirected, heading straight down for the sniper`s rifle and hand. Though it's difficult to judge how much of the sniper's mental faculties are retained, if one has a good enough eye they might just notices the near invisible string-like lines hanging behind each bullet, the strands of void shifting the rounds insides from within turning them into semi-guided rounds.

The bullets all halted once they neared the grey Nyx, and dropped to the sand harmlessly. The Nyx continued onwards, not leaving even the slightest hint of a footprint as she ran.

Scowling, she began to run towards the coordinates the mysterious speaker had given her.

The sniper, however, was not so fortunate. The gun was sent flying, and blood began to pour out of his hand. The sniper staggered backwards, and tried to pull out a knife with its good hand.

An unfamiliar orbiter appeared in high orbit over the planet, far above the city of Deadwood. It made no attempt to activate its cloak, and no liset departed from the craft.

The orbiter began to charge up its engines again, aimed in the direction of the nearest rail.

The Constable shoved him out of the way, continuing to run while the others were preoccupied.

Although fleeing didn't sit right with him, he knew what the tenno were after, and he couldn't afford to let himself be captured.

The figure stopped dead as he saw the intruder press into the entry way, Frost still firing at him.
"Yeah, no, F#ck That." The figure said. With a clench of his fist, the figure disappeared into a blue blur as the Warframe detonated, engulfing the intruder in a brilliant flame as bits of shrapnel flew everywhere.

Within seconds, the figure was running parallel to the Constable. But rather than engage, He simple raised his hands, showing two empty palms.
"I just wanna get away from the psycho at the front door."

Neither the Valkyr or the Nyx makes an attempt to pursue for now. Though chasing the assailant down for more detailed answers besides "the Inquisition and/or the the High Inquisitor is behind it", there was still the matter of one of those said key-wielders still sitting in the middle of the square.

Aria quickly gets out of her slide and into a prone position, helmet peeking out from behind the chimmey she's taking cover at. Mia runs over and kneels down at one of the roof's corners weapons still primed, keeping a proverbial eye at both the Inquisitor and at the fresh corpse. Not wasting momentum, her bolt rifle flows up onto firing position, and fires another three shot burst at the sniper's knife hand, elbow and shoulder, the intent to cripple, not immediately put down.

Over the Excalibur's comms, a burst transmission flashes into his HUD: [...assailant down first, or deal with inquisitor...?...both equal in urgency...]

(pulverized meat from just 6 rounds, 5 of them aiming at the rifle and 1 at the hand? Is the sniper rifle made of plasticine or is the sniper made of jello? :s)

The Constable looked at him for a second, hand drifting towards his revolver. Then he nodded suddenly, continuing to run away from the gunshots.

When they neared the entrance to one of the nearby houses, the Constable shoved the figure to the ground, dashing into the building. The sound of doors being slammed could be heard as the Constable tried to loose anyone following.

The figure was sent tumbling, sending dust flying. As the Constable entered the building, a blue smudge would flash across his vision as the figure managed to blink inside the building mid role, coming to a halt as his upper torso slammed into one of the walls. The figure righted himself, the scrapes from tumbling leaking an odd black liquid. The wounds quickly clotted as the figure looked around, making sure to stay away from any windows near by as he oriented himself.

The shots land, but as the Sniper was further disabled and the grey Nyx put more and more distance between herself and the tenno, she released control of him. Running three consciousness at once was beginning to become taxing on her mind, and the sniper was of no further use. The sniper crumpled to the ground, alive, but unmoving. What remained of the man was little more than a vegetable, his mind in tatters without any hope of recovery.

[...unless you have a means to track down the Nyx, inquisitor seems more feasible for now. no inquisitor to date bodes well for civilians in area...] the comms answer stoically.

Both frames keep a vigil over the figure down by the fountain, their muscles tense in readiness.

[...you can attempt contact if you're willing, but be on your guard...]

Striking soon was what he was good at. Pulling at any and all moisture he could find, he focused on calling up a layer of ice in all of the shadows as the temperature around him began to drop. Hopefully this would buy him more time -- slowing everything in the vicinity and hopefully forcing his target to hunker down longer.
The paper-thin layer of ice crunched under his feet as he made his way inside, switching on his helmet-mounted light.

The ship was pitch-black save for the few shafts of light that entered through breaches in the hull. Sand had also poured through the openings, coating everything in a thin layer of grit.

Faintly, the sound of voices could be heard coming from the somewhere deeper in the ship, though it was hard to make out anything they were saying.

Voices...hmm. He paused to listen, trying to at least pick out the tone or language - anything that could give him a better idea of what he was dealing with. He slowed his pace, but continued moving, checking around corners to make sure he wasn't being followed or walking into an ambush. He silently chastised himself for not bringing a kubrow along; his leggy Sunika would have been a huge help. Well, probably couldn't have thawed him in time anyway, the frost thought to himself.

The barrel of a revolver was pressed roughly against his forehead, as the Constable stared at the figure warily.

"What the hell are you?" he said, glancing around for the others, "And why the hell are you following me?"

"I think the better question is whether or not our friend in red is following us." the figure responded, obviously listening for signs of the intruders approach: sniper fire, the sounds of someone blinking across the landscape, footsteps, anything. "I...don't think I hear him... yeah, he hasn't caught our sent yet." He said, seeming oddly calm for a man with a gun to his head. "As for 'following you', you seem to know your way around, and I'm NOT letting myself get cornered by him."

[You take care of the inquisitor, I'm going to check up on the mesa.] Marcus replied, bulletjumping over to where the other tenno was. She had risen to her feet, and had ripped the knife out of her gut. Judging by the way her wound was already beginning to close, her frame was capable of recovering from the damage.

"She's gotten a lot stronger since we last saw each other..." the Mesa muttered, then looked up at Marcus in surprise.

"Hey there," Marcus said casually, sheathing his sword, "Don't think we've met before. I'm Marcus."

"I'm Abigail," the mesa replied, dusting off her legs.

"So," Marcus said, "What are you doing chasing after that Nyx?"

As he drew closer to the source of the voices, more details could be made out. Whoever was speaking was arguing with someone in grineer.

"I did everything you ordered!" the person was yelling, "I followed your instructions to the letter!"

"Are you really saying you'd rather pick a fight with a guy crazy enough to pick a fight with both you and a Tenno, rather than deal with the guy who's willing to talk, and just trying to get away like you?" The figure asked, eyes flitting between the Constable and the windows, still keeping watch for the Intruder. "I mean... to each his own. but we're both in the same boat here."

Well, that sounds promising... He continued forward, painfully aware of the not-so-quiet footfalls as he approached, hoping the maze of corridors wouldn't lead him off track.

The voices were coming from nearby, but the near-vertical angle the ship rested at made progression forward very difficult.

"Don't waste my time, Kraz Val," Someone else replied. "If you had done your job correctly, we wouldn't be here. But you left a witnesses. Be it an act of mercy or carelessness, you've thrown everything we've worked for into jeopardy."

"Now listen here J'Taav-"

"However, all is not lost. The only person they saw was you."

A split second later, a gunshot echoed loudly throughout the galleon, and something heavy clanged to the ground.

The frost moved forward to the best of his ability, making use of bullet-jumps and careful movement to slightly speed up his approach. Once he deemed himself within range, he gathered enough energy to coat the floor in ice in a cone-shape in front of him, long enough to disappear out of range of his headlamp. After all, why use caution when you can grab folks like flies in a sticky trap?

Silence fell over the room the voices were coming from as the ice creeped over the floor.
