I didn't, even with those, the sources of actual Status effects are rare. Lots of Corpus weapons are base Electric too, but only Eximus units shock you with the Status, and even then we aren't subject to the actual 'electrical stun' of the proc. That's one of the key reasons that Elemental power based warframes won't ever get elemental resistances, because the actual damage/status types are incredibly biased.

But hey, all I said was that it wasn't what I would have done.

Something to keep in mind, though, is that no matter your own mindset on a matter may be set, game design is always based on the in-game effects and not on the reality. It's why shotguns have fall-off damage that's not based on the actual range or spread of pellets, why a magnetic wave can fracture non-ferrous armour and so on.

Keep refining on this, there's still room for improvement, and I'll check in later to see where you get to.

I get hit with status effects all the time.
Mainly puncture, impact, and slash, but the Lanka guy does have a small % to shock stun you.
Then the new enemy Nox can toxic and gas you, toxic infested can toxin you too.
Hyaka Master can burn you, the Basolk warriors can too.
Shock is definitely the rarest out of the 4 main elements.

I'm just trying to translate real life things into warframe concepts.
It's the fun part for me, figuring out how it would work in game.
Stitching wounds closed would definitely not be a powerful power,
so I aimed at making it more utility based.

There is always room for improvement :D
the main thing now is figuring out a quest-line for him.
Probably something spooky scary, like, maybe involving the Eidolon?
The Eidolon is said to be the angry spirit of a dead sentient warlord,
possessing the body of some dead warframe like war-machine.
Witch Doctors where mostly about calming angry spirits, and healing.
