This event is boooooring :[

Before you get all triggered, this is my subjective personal opinion. And I'm not creating this post to complain for the sake of complaining. The reason I think it's boring is because it just came out for the ps4, and it says I need to get 2000 pacifists to evacuation.

2000. [Well, for the end tier reward anyways]

It's not HARD, it's just TEDIOUS, and takes a long time. Even if I paced myself and went at a rate of 200 a day, it would take 10 days to do. And that's with external responsibilities. But the event lasts for only 7 days. I just got my first 75 (at a rate of about 25-30 survivors per mission) pacifists saved. I was really bored and I don't want to do any more right now, but because of the time constraint I can't just "come back to this later" either at my leisure and I need at least 300 a day, every day, for the entire week.

Does anyone know of any tips or tricks to make this faster or more efficient. As it is I'm [literally] bored to tears atm and I'm really hoping there's something that makes this process faster and less painful :/

Thing you're missing here is that there is a multiplier for the higher tiers.

The first tier is worth 1 point per rescue, meaning 75 rescues to finish that tier.
The second tier is worth 2 points per rescue, meaning 88 rescues to finish that tier.
The third tier is worth 4 points per rescue, meaning 438 rescues to finish that tier.

That's a grand total of 601 rescues to get to 2000 points.  And do note that even if you rescue 100 people in a single mission in the first tier you'll only get 75 points.  Excess points from the lower tiers don't count towards the next tier.
Not that bad.
Especially when a good dedicate squad can easily get 100-200 rescues from the tihrd tier without any problems.

You only have to evacuate approximately 619 defectors. For the Ignis Wraith, you just have to rescue 175 to get to the third mission then get a total of 65 in one mission if you were a solo ghost clan to get the Ignis Wraith BP.

Or, you could just not do it if you think it's too tedious.

Tbh I found the mission pretty cool as an actual mission type. Escort combined with managing all the devices as well.

It was super uber tedious though because you were doing it not once or twice, bit like really long runs like 50 damn times. It is just going to make every hate a game mode that might have been alright otherwise lol.

It was a big yawn fest after about the first 20 minutes.
And I had to spend 6 and a 1/2 hours of my weekend doing it...

Such a waste of time for a weapon I think is inferior to the regular Ignis.
Since you don't have to mod for crits to get the most out of it.

  • Who are you playing
  • Are you doing this with friends or randoms?
  • What frames do you like to play?

I loved this game mode and would like to help you learn to like it, or at the very least help you get through it. xD

it's not that bad if you do it with friends, me and our Clan Leader smashed the first two missions as Nova and Trinity, and made decent progress on the third. reached 100 rescues rather quickly, and was too focused on actually escorting the Kavor to worry about being bored. if you are getting bored though, I always recommend switching loadouts with the randomize button, keeps things exciting for me anyways.

Did you think it would be different from the pc version. I'm just wondering if any moon clan on consoles will be able to get highest tier.

You are aware that I said I'm playing on a PS4 right? Nowhere did I say I expected it to be different from the PC version. If anything, I made this post because I know PC players went through it already and I was looking to them for some kind of pointers (such as that explanation that later tier missions have points multipliers, which I just learned about thanks to this post.)

Yep. That's the point I'm at now.

And I don't have a dedicated squad (they're at work atm) so it's even more tedious to get properly coordinated.

I end up running Banshee or Ash. I was using Limbo, but turns out you can't just Rift em away to safety and they cant get the health thing while in the rift either, so I just gave up on that.

Yeah, it'd be cool, if I didn't have to force myself to run it prbly 100+ times within one week. Thanks DE XD

Then don't do it?

Um. See, there's this thing that comes with events, it's called the rewards, and I'd sorta like to have the Ignis Wraith before the year 2020 finally drops it again in some invasion mission

You are aware that only your best score in the third mission counts right? Just checking...

And it's really not that tedious. Public Squads can handle it pretty well, atleast that was, what i experienced

it wasn't boring at all i enjoyed doing it ..

Pace yourself if u don't like long missions then set a goal and get to tier 3 and do 20 to 30 kavor's per run and you will get your 2000 in no time a few hours not days..

And if you don't want the weapon at all then just don't do it .

Wait like people on pc and some of us give the ignis wraith bp away for free as we have the research...

At the time I had created this post, I just had gotten through the first tier. I didn't know about the multipliers at the time. They changed the pace for sure :)

I have to disagree with people calling it tedious and boring. You have a few days to do it, so no need to push yourself through it in one sitting. Further, it takes just 1 run to get the first tier, another run to get the second tier. The third one then requires 1750 points, or 438 rescues. That's 3-5 runs, which isn't bad. It's highly recommended to do this in a coordinated group - grab a few clan/alliance members or just hook up with randoms in the recruit chat to coordinate your frames.

I'd also recommend setting up TeamSpeak or some other voice communication system. Not only does it make coordination a lot easier, it also speeds up the process since you get to chat with friends/randoms while doing it. Remember to split up to make the mission quicker - we usually ran with 1 dude at C, 1 at B, Trinity and 1 other at A (to heal the defectors as they come to A, and escort them safely to extraction).

As the mission itself - I found it very refreshingly challenging. It's not really "difficult" with a good group, but it does require constant attention and coordnation if you want to run it efficiently - I'd much rather rescue defectors than stand still for 20 waves of defense. Do prepare well, since enemy levels keep climbing up and are something like 80+ at around... 130-150 rescues I think.

It is alittle monotonous IMO. We run Zen Slova, Narrow Ev Trin, Banshee, Frost. Literally stood on A casting Slova 4, Trin was the escort, frost snoglobes per ABC, and Banshee for the damage and quackery. Frost on b, Banshee c. Just sending survivors thru, no problems. That being said we are a Ghost Clan, so the grind won't be too awful.
