Defense suggestion Ver.3 - Timed Waves

I am on a mission (pun?) to find a solution to defenses (especially on large to extra large maps) being horrendously dull and boring for the first 30 waves or so.

My newest suggestion is that each wave have a timer.  Upon expiration of said timer, the next wave immediately starts.  If the wave is cleared prior to the timer ending, a 5 second grace period is afforded.

After the first rotation C, the timer decrease by x# of seconds per wave/rotation so that by wave, I dunno, 100 or something, the 5 waves are pretty much continuous.

Yeah, that's pretty much it.
