So i had an idea for a warframe, a copy cat, gray matter formed warframe, Slate

Who can copy the powers of other warframes, but also has his own powers

Before a match, in the arsenal you may pick 4 powers, these are only used in his ultimate form

Slate's ultimate enables his slate form, that allows him to access the 4 powers registered to him

His ultimate last 60 seconds, and is un-modifiable, and uses powers from frames you have previously unlocked

you choose a 1, from any 1 from any warframe you own

a 2 from any 2 from any warframe you own

a 3 from any 3 from any warframe you own

and an ultimate from any warframe you own, Slate's stats remain the same but while in slate form, he uses the chosen 4 powers

Only specific warframes powers would be banned, based on that warframes base design

Like Nidus - Equinox - Octavia - and Chroma, only because of how they are designed per warframe, non universal

(Nidus because he needs stacks, Equinox because of her switch form power, Octavia because she runs off her music, and Chroma because he uses his armor)

Maybe also Titania's ultimate and Mesas Ultimate wouldn't be allowed,

Health: 100 (300 at rank 30)
Power: 200 (300 at rank 30)
Armor: 300
Shield Capacity: 100 (300 at rank 30)
Sprint Speed: 1.0
Conclave: 130
Polarities: 2 Vazarin (D)
Aura Polarity: 1 Vazarin (D)

Passive:: Slate converts all ammo he picks up; into universal ammo for any weapon he has equipped

 

Power 1:: Mind Meld 25 Energy

Slate becomes target Enemy, they become him, 

Slate Will turn into the enemy that he targets for a duration

And then that enemy will turn into him, this enemy draws enemy fire as a decoy

While Slate can walk away freely from battle, but also free to attack any enemies without being attacked 

The enemy will be stunned the whole time, unable to move or attack, while he is under fire, till death or till your duration runs out

If Slate re-uses this power while in enemy form, he will create another decoy, and become that enemy

He can stack this up to 3 times, becoming a different enemy each time, while making 3 enemy decoys that look like him

When Slate activates this for a 4th time, that first decoy will detonate for a 6m explosion that knock's down nearby enemies

*If Slate becomes a summoner type Enemy, his summons will follow Slate instead

 

Power 2:: Morphic Resistance 2 Energy per second

Slate activates a shield, the more damage of a single elemental type of damage he deals or takes, it builds up

Damage he takes of that type turns into a resistance over time, if he takes continuous Electric, he becomes more resistant to all electric damage 

Damage he deals of a type builds up and increases over time, if he deals continuous Toxic, he deals more damage with toxic attacks

You could equip your gear to a type of element and then benefit greatly from the boosted damage buff and resistance

The resistance caps around 75% and the Damage boost caps around 35% 

The growth rate of this is benefited by power strength, it is un-effected by range, but duration decreases the channel cost

 

Power 3:: Mass Conversion 75 Energy

Slate explodes out a wave of Gray matter that attaches to nearby enemies

These enemies become Slate, and in turn fight amongst each other

Every enemy affected will have Slates load-out, but none of his powers

Un-effected enemies will attack slates, slates will attack them, causing a panic war

This confusion lasts for a duration, enemies may still target the real slate, but with so many slates, it would be chaos

up to 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 slates can be created at one time

 

Power 4:: Transmutation 100 Energy

For 60 Seconds, Slate has access to your pre-picked 4 powers from other warframes you own

In this form his 4 powers vanish, but now he has 4 powers from across your collection of frames, some excluded though

he can only have 1 1, 1 2, 1 3, and 1 4

So you cant give him 4 ultimates, or 4 3's 2's or 1's

but you can mix and match many powers, but some would be only capable on specific warframes, like wukong or excaliburs ultimates

 

For instance, 

Embers Fireball

Trinitys EV

Frosts Bubble

And Saryns Ultimate

 

 

Seems like fun, and the combinations could be interesting

I had an alternative pitch to Slates 4th

First off, it would work more like equinoxs first

As the first use would change his first 3 powers to pre selected ones

But he keeps his ultimate 

So he wouldn't be able to pick any ultimates from other frames

But could switch freely between his powers or chosen copied ones

And instead his ultimate would cost 50 and no longer have a duration 

 

It becomes a swap power

I feel it makes more sense as warframes ultimates are their true power 

And it balances much better this way
