Edit: basically, it's because of what Carnage said: yep essentially if we want any change or availability we'd have to petition sony. Personally though if we could manage the cross system compatibility there would be no reason to keep it off of the table.
(PSN)InSaiyanOne
Transfers only go from PC to Consoles. There are too many things that are involved going the other way, basically stacking the odds against it being possible. The only way it would be feasible would be if there were a renovation of the account system...pulling it totally on Digital Extremes and making PSN and XBOX user accounts irrelevant. I'm sure plenty of us play games that run on the mentioned format (Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is a great example...billing wouldn't be necessary, just use the same system) and some of those user accounts are relatively complex. As others have said, consoles do not want to lose current players. Even if you leave, even if others also leave, realistically speaking all you will do is stop playing the game on console and play it on PC. You will still have/use your console (unless you sell it or whatever) and play other games. The number of transfers are also very small at the moment as the other times were situated during related-console events/sales. It would be very likely that there will be a migration coming up for PC to XBOX Scorpio (or whatever it's going to be called) due to that being a new console, related new users and popularity around the launch.
