MirageKnight
The new Syandana is pretty swank (props to whoever did the model, rigging, and texturing) and it fits nicely on most 'Frames...with the exception of Rhino / Rhino Prime. It sits a bit too low on his back and the fabric forms an exaggerated dome-shape towards the top which makes it look a bit silly. Side view shows this to good effect. It would be greatly appreciated to see this get fixed Other than that minor quibble, thanks for the anniversary gift DE!
AdunSaveMe
If we could move them ourselves, DE wouldn't have to put as much work into fitting them to each frame.

But then they'd have to put in a great deal of work to make them moveable using the game client without the Syandana clipping through the body or appearing at weird angles. That's what they did for holsters. They don't have to allow us to move them without them clipping. They just have to allow us to move them. If people don't want them to clip, then they won't make them clip. If they don't care, they'll be able to place them to their heart's content. They only have to avoid clipping because we can't do it ourselves, and even then there's a lot of it. Edited March 29, 2017 by AdunSaveMe

And then I wouldn't be able to save each Syandana for each Warframe, and possibly would have to face floating issues still present on some Warframes in melee holsters... I wouldn't want that. Thay have complete freedom thanks to their tools, ours would be limited. And by the way: 6 hours ago, AdunSaveMe said: That's what they did for holsters. The bolded part is completely false. We can't solve clipping either, clipping is caused because they have no effective way of adding the right mathematical values so that cloth on hitboxes don't misbehave or appear floating -- that's why they left it to clip on purpose in the first place. Just recently they've adapted it. Edited March 29, 2017 by NightmareT12

Which is an issue because melee holsters are tied to the weapon, which is separate from the Warframe. Attachments are saved specifically with the Warframe.
