There are a couple Tenno their in game names are -snip- and -snip-. Those 2 are scamming people with discounts having people send their platnium before using the discount and not actually giving anything as agreed. But just as a general FYI; read the disclaimer in the Trade Chat tab. It states that DE doesn't suggest, condone, or enforce trades for promises. Maybe when this portion of U20 reaches consoles they'll finally get it into their heads: Trading flow improvements have been added! We now have added a final confirmation dialogue for a trade that lists the items being traded and requiring a final confirmation from both sides. i.e. "You are about to trade an Unranked Prime Chamber for 1000 Platinum?" and confirmation by button press or mouse click from both sides before "Trade Completed". This is one last review of the manifest to ensure you're certain of your trade. Haven't traded since then, but doesn't this make 3 confirmations needed before a trade goes through? The simple fact of the matter is that we on the forums cannot help you, and we cannot get the whole picture--we are not privy to server logs or evidence beyond your testimony. DE Support Staff, however, are able to get the full story, and are better equipped to handle and punish users who violate rules. We do not condone pitchfork mobs or "social" justice, because it is very easy to mislead said mob by withholding information, exaggerating circumstances or falsifying events in order to incite users to attack and harass other members of the community. Again, I'm not saying that you are not telling the truth, but we cannot outright trust your testimony as we are not privy to all of the facts. Your best course of action would be to File a Support Ticket to report the users. And, as always, please include as much information as possible, such as screenshots, time of the event, et cetera.
