(XBOX)ItsMast3rking
As we all know, the original focus of the sentient was to kill the orokin n the tennos but why? N after the orokin empire fell they popped out of nowhere and still trying to kill us...but again why? I mean i know they think of us as a threat but even so,atm we're significantly weaker than b4 n struggling to keep ourselves alive or order in the system. Skaleek
Because we're the only ones that pose a threat to them. If you've played octavia's anthem you know that we're capable of dealing devastating blows to sentient forces. (XBOX)Grimsley Clause
Two reasons: 1. We're the only real threat to them anymore 2. Convenience.

The orokin took the Tenno and essentially made Warriors of the Void to fight against a force they had essentially made mad by poisoning them previously with the void despite as far as we can tell nothing really hostile was originally happening between both groups. Hunhow, one of the leaders of the Sentients, ordered his daughter to infiltrate the Orokin and take control of the Tenno. From what I can gather, she was ordered to lead us to what appeared to be a victory before convincing us to kill all the Orokin and then putting us to death. At that point, I would suspect she would have personally reawakened Hunhow and led the Sentients to obliterate what remained of humanity now having removed the only thing in the way. Instead, she rebelled and became the Lotus because she felt a motherly bond between us which appears to be a primary driving force behind the Sentient and was unable to ever have offspring herself. She then locked us away in a dream for our protection while she let the solar system rebuild until we were awoken for our safety on top of us being needed once more. While we fought the Corpus, Grineer and the newly reemerged Infestation, Tyl Regor found something he wasn't supposed to on Uranus. Tyl then naively tried to break this vault which was never to be opened. The vault was actually the tomb in which a badly damaged but still living Hunhow dwelled. Upon being awakened again, Hunhow escaped and started to rebuild himself and swore revenge on the Tenno for taking his daughter away. Essentially, Hunhow and the Sentient are not only angry at us for not having been killed by Natah but he personally wants to crush us and then drag his daughter back. OmniLight
Just now, (Xbox One)ItsMast3rking said: Ah so its the overly protective father thing Well that and we are literally poison to the Sentients. It is kind of like us trying to stamp out certain pathogenic bacteria. They didn't really do anything wrong per say in trying to live and reproduce but they still are a threat to our society. You can also kind of compare that while we are thinking creatures, to the Sentient, we are no better than what the infestation is to us. It just kind of happens that Hunhow also hates us for taking away his daughter on top of us literally being living breathing embodiments of the same thing that not only kills them but what also makes them incapable of being able to reproduce to begin with. Strictly speaking, Hunhow feigned defeat during the Old War, being buried upon Uranus to give the illusion of victory so that Natah would have the opportunity to destroy both the Orokin and the Tenno from the shadows Returning per Tyl Regor's actions in Natah (quest) means he's resuming where the original plan failed; the Orokin may be gone, but the Tenno remain. Between general hatred of the Tenno per their Void nature being antithetical to that of the Sentient and how his own daughter has aligned with them...Pretty much Hunhow's MO at the moment could be considered born out of a very...obsessive 'love'. After all, he does express regret for what Natah has become, even offering her the opportunity to return of her own will during TSD, else he and the other Sentients will just bring her back to their side the hard way. In another way, for Hunhow it could also be that the Sentient perceive the Tenno akin to how we view most dangerous diseases; something to be eradicated given a chance. We eradicated Smallpox because of how much damage it did to us...so for Sentient QoL, getting rid of the Tenno may be the same kind of drive. Toss in being the last real vestiges of the Orokin and their works, let alone the fact the Tenno likely lost near to nothing if that, compared to all their Sentient kills, per Transference, during the Old War and there's a measure of 'revenge/avenge' at play as well, potentially. Akavakaku
We nearly destroyed the Sentients in the Old War. Now we're the most powerful force in the way of them taking over the Origin System. Not to mention we work with Lotus, a Sentient traitor.

(PSN)robotwars7
because until we are all erased, the Old War hasn't ended for them. we've slaughtered countless of their kind, we protected the ones who made them weak to Void Energy, we ended up basically robbing Hunhow of his Daughter Natah once she decided to adopt us. we're also the only ones in the system who know how to defeat them, and the only ones who are truly aware of the threat (Corpus and Grineer are too busy fighting each other and have no idea how to kill Sentients themselves). if I were a Sentient, I'd be pretty pi$$ed at the Tenno honestly. (XBOX)ItsMast3rking
Ok But if we're dangerous to them, wouldnt it be better to stay away from us?especially given the fact that we didnt even hunt them down or tried to put them on the "endangered" species..we left them alone even tho we could wipe them all out..so why challenge someone that can kill u with just a snap of a finger?
