DEATHLOK
On Spy missions (and probably others), Infested enemies are automatically switching to an alerted state, despite never having seen, heard, or felt the player in any way. Specifically, Loki is able to turn on Invisibility at the very start of a mission, and enemies will not be alerted to his presence, provided he does not bump into one or attack one. During that initial spell of Invisibility, Infested remain in an unalerted state. However, the instant this first spell of Invisibility expires, all Infested on the map switch to an alerted state, regardless of how careful the player has been not to be seen, heard, or felt. Loki can dive into an empty storeroom before Invisibility wears off and cast it again while out of sight, but all Infested will still exist in an alerted state. There is no way to remain undetected by Infested while playing Loki. This should not be the case. I understand all the "hive mind" stuff, but Infested are erroneously detecting a player who is undetectable. Please look into this. Aedwynn
They won't . It has been so for years and despite people reporting it again and again they are not fixing it. There are similar bugs, like mission starting in a room lockdown, Bursas and such appearing 5-10 seconds before actual alerts sound off and interaction with security panels becoming available, enemies becoming alert when getting in environmental hazards, enemies becoming alert to silenced weapon due to it having special procs/effects (like Dual Toxocyst's headshot proccing an increase in fire rate and alerting all enemies near you to that), enemies seeing you while you can't see them, list goes on... I can point out around 20 bugs that remain in same state as they were 2 years ago without a single effort to fix them.
DEATHLOK
I guess what we need are forums flooded with reports of the bugs they are ignoring.
