I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

You're doing amazing work and I love coming back to this post/your youtube to see what's new!

Can you do Close to Me by The Cure? Just the beginning bit before the lyrics.

Edit: Just saw that someone else requested the same song and you were unable to make a mandachord out of it. I decided to have a go at it; the percussion and bass is pretty good but the melody doesn't sound right.

As an enormous Octavia fan, I'd like to see:

1. Booster's Tower - Super Mario RPG Good stuff starts around 1:18. I'd just like to hear your take on the theme

2. Bloody Tears - Castlevania II: Simon's Quest  Again, whatever your interpretation is I'd like to hear

3. Onett Theme - Earthbound Only if you have time!

Not sure exactly what you're talking about, but the only "loops" I can find in the first three minutes don't work on a Mandachord.

If I didn't actually make something for you then there's no wait, go ahead.  However, in this case there actually is a wait because I'm still three weeks behind.

It's not that Touhou is hard.  It's just that listening to Touhou OSTs is frickin exhausting.  Do they make Pocky with cocaine instead of sugar now or something?

I listened to the section you highlighted as long as I could, and there isn't really a melody I can use.  Unless you're talking about the backing synth which is on some kind of Red Bull and Crack, in which case, also no.

Hello! I would like to request this song. It's a eurobeat song so there are many beats besides it's the vocals that I want 😛
The chorus would make a really good loop. Around 1:20 - 1:30 is a good spot.

The Eurobeat Touhou remixes are at least tolerable.  Unfortunately, Eurobeat is the exact wrong tempo for Mandachord.
