I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Eyo, I can actually recommend 2 tracks for you. Both of which are my go to tracks actually, lol. I won't have direct links to them ATM (sry lying in bed on my phone as I'm typing this). But you can find em fairly easily in Buff00ns thread here.

 

They'll be under the games section, both are from Payday 2.

Quick note about hot pursuit. The version I have is slightly different from what Buff00n made. Basically I tweaked it slightly to make it sound a bit closer to the original (completely IMO keep in mind. Buff00ns version could actually be closer to original, but personally I enjoy my version tad more more. Bit easier to hit the metronome buffs too I find). So if ya'd like, I could send you the version I have of that song. 🙂

I know for sure I've changed the melody from what's in this vid (I used groups of 1/16th notes to emulate the held notes in the original). But the bass line might actually be pretty close to what I'm using currently. Maybe just slightly tweaked by couple notes? At very least gives you good demo of that sick bass line (which is what I loved about original song in first place, Lol)

For first one, assuming has to do with limitations of the mandachord scale?

Yeah. It's basically only four notes, but the first one is the sixth note of the diatonic minor scale, which isn't there on a mandachord

Ah gotcha, so would of sounded fairly off then trying to transpose it to the mandachord scale?
