Mesa ballistic battery rework idea

With the recent introduction of Pandero with it's alt fire I've got an idea that would make ballistic battery much more useful and fitting for a gunslinger theme. I suggest we exchange one big shot for a rapid burst of 6 shots and remove the damage cap! All damaged stoared would be evenly distributed between each of the shots. If the weapon has a magazine lower than 6 rounds it would simply distribute the damage between the remaining rounds (for example for vectis prime- half of the damage for each of the shots). The only weapons unaffected by this power would be bows and other weapons with charge mechanic (and possibly launchers). It would even make its augment useful, having 6 guaranteed status procs is pretty decent! So what do you think?
