ImaginaMagica
Hi there, Incubating my first Kavat. It's got one day left in it's incubation, but I'm noticing it doesn't have a tail. Does it show up later or is this a rare mutation? [SCREENSHOT 1] [SCREENSHOT 2] I'll post updates as it matures.
0 PeachyPurpleNova
Kittens don't have tails but they all sprout one when they mature so don't worry.
0 shut
Some of them just don't have tails. It's normal. EDIT: Not sure what I was thinking; all adult Kavats have tails. EDIT2: Oh, now I remember why I thought adult Kavats could be tailless. It's because my adult Kavat is tailless. This is one of the "eldritch monstrosity" Kubrow/Kavat hybrids, though (it appears as a missing-texture Kubrow with a paw raised when in the ship). So I guess tailless isn't an option through normal breeding. Edited April 29, 2017 by SortaRandom
0 (PSN)CoolD2108
^ except when they look like this Then they won't have tails. It was possible to breed both kubrows and Kavats with imprints of the others short after kavats released. That's a result of this crossbreed. Kinda wonky looking on the ship but turns into a tiny, solid black, tailess kavat in missions ^^ pretty sure that's been fixed tho a long time ago.
