(PSN)ArgusTheMan Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 (edited) Bit greedy that you gotta buy different instruments for a music system with plat, it would be fine if it had to be crafted but restricting an already restrictive music system even more is a bit silly. You can't even create most of the music you want to make with the base set and most of the songs (Mortal Kombat for example) take more than one of the 50 plat purchases i might just be complaining but others gotta be thinking the same right? And no I'm not dev bashing it's just, cmon man did you really have to make plat purchases for a single frame based around their quirk? Edited April 28, 2017 by (PS4)ArgusTheMan
MuscleVictor Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Recording those sounds cost money, you know. Personally, I don't see it as an issue, since you could make a song (not arrange) without the extra sound packs. I see it as being similar in concept to fashionframe: if you want to make it sound to your taste, better prepare to cough up the plat. I believe it was also mentioned that depending on how the playerbase reacts to charging for soundpacks, DE might be able to provide more soundpacks if they are received well. It is also worth noting that I bought all the soundpacks except one, not because I want to be able to copy-paste other people's arrangements of popular music, but because I want to make my own composition sound as good as it can.
(PSN)watt4hem Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 It's to be expected, and well deserved because like victor said, it costs money and time. My only gripe is that it's quite expensive for something you can only use on 1 frame (DE, make us able to play songs on the orbiter's radio )
(PSN)drpunk-yo Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 When I saw the cost I laughed. When I listened to them I laughed even harder. I really hope it didn't cost that much to record.
