Hello,

I have been playing Warframe for at least two years.  I have found it to be alot of fun, and great stress relief.  I, however, wanted to upgrade my computer to keep up with newer games and graphics.  So I put in a new graphic card, (7570)  and Windows 7 (32 bit).  I have not been able to get into Warframe since.  Every time I tried, I've gotten "log in failed, check info".  I've been working with a dev to see what the problem is, but if nothing changes, I'll just have two options.  One, walk away from a great game I want to come back to, or two start from scratch blowing my plat, clan, and all my frames including my primes.  I just don't know what to do.  So I'm just putting this out here.  Thanks.

Wrong password/e-mail.

10/10 best trollpost

That same exact message popped up during server outages, etc.

The message isn't saying the username/password you entered is without a doubt wrong, it's saying check the info as that's the most likely reason you failed to login.

Thanks for replying.  I've reset the password about five times now, and I double checked for caps lock.   I've ruled them out.  But thanks for asking and the advice.  AXCrusnik, How do I check the info, and where?  What information is the system asking for?.

I've recently had this message on a regular basis, "log in failed, check info". It's been happening since I moved to China, and it's due to my extremely poor net here. When it's real bad (I have a message in red saying that the network is not responding), I have to enter my username and password few times and get this message few times as well until it eventually works and let me log in. Has nothing to do with entering my name/pw incorrectly (at least as far as I'm concerned). Do you have any problem with your net? And is it set up properly? Make sure it is, just in case. (Not sure it'll help, but hey I'm trying :satisfied: )

Hello,

Thanks again for all the replys.  @CeePee:  Yes I can get into the warframe site, but not the game itself.  Weird.  @Meztelen:  No it's alright, and I welcome the help.  No, I did not have trouble with the net when I was running this in Windows XP, so I don't understand why now?  @ComCray: No, I don't use the Nexus app.  I got warframe through Steam.  Thanks for asking though.

What was your old operating system? and do you have 64 bit turned off in launcher settings? Sometimes that does... weird things with steam when you're on older OS.

Hello,

Well Wolfdoggie, as I've said the operating system was windows XP (32 bit).  I haven't checked the launcher settings yet, so thanks for the idea.  I'll give it a try.

this issue has nothing to do with your upgrades to your computer. I recently changed all 3 HDDs with new SSDs and a brand new OS on my PC and once I downloaded the game again I have no problems logging right back in. Have you tried fully deleting the game and re-installing it?

Hi,

If you mean going into the Steam folders and deleting it from the hard drive, then no.  I have only used the uninstall command from the Steam browser.  I hope I do not have to go that far, thanks.

The "check your info" message is asking you to check if your email and password entered to login are correct.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.  I've reset the password several times, but I have not redone the e-mail entry.  I'll give it a shot.  Thanks again.

Hello,

I would like to thank everybody for their help.  A big shout out to AXCrusnik for helping me to see something that was right under my nose all the time.  I am now able to get into the game and made up ( a little bit) for lost time.  Thanks again for all the help from this wonderful forum group.  Take care.
