Plant scanner mod for pets

As pets are underused massively why not to add mod that will allow them to scan plants?

At rank 0 scan from 1mrange, at rank 5 scan from 30m range.

This will be really helpful for some players and unique to pets.

As another user pointed out, scanning items doesn't exactly fall under the scope of Kavats and Kubrows. That, and scanning is the prime purpose of the Helios sentinel.

Each companion should a unique purpose that drives their use. There are a few reasons I use Kavats most of the time. They are not for everyone though.

Let's be realistic a bit. How are pets suppose to scan? Just use the appropriate companion. Problem solved. 

Also pets scanning plants is your big idea to make them useful? After the Titania quest. Why would we need to continue scanning plants? Unless your farming for the new aura mods. Which you can trade for. 

I think giving all kubrows the dig ability would make them just a tad bit useful with a 25% chance of spawning an energy orb. With the chance increasing the lower your energy pool. As for Kavats. There alright at the moment.

I actually haven't used a Sentinel on purpous since I got my Smeeta Kavat, the random effects I get are way too useful to not use.
