Ath4
Hi Gyus! I am currently working on my syandana for game. Got inspired and willing to contrubite! I was suprised myself how this proces may be interesting and exciting! Let me ask some crucial questions to community, but before - Here are some screenshots, please tell me how do you like it: https://gyazo.com/3ee6d832ff1fccd7f37f5f954b8d283b https://gyazo.com/ef6a0a93ca95ed40fde6a199a105ab12 https://gyazo.com/a0d32d7142e211e86fc904b87abbd1b7 So, it has taken me 2 months to learn&create the item, taking into consideration that I am not a native english speaker and there are zero tutorials in ukrainian - i thought my brain is about to explode lol. But I am struggling a problem of describing the physique of syandana movement in real-time game engine. By using massFX tool in 3ds max for simulation, the motion looks very ugly and unnatural. Does anybody know the way to create bone's matrix ? Maybe any scripts, or anything else? Any information is highly appreciated! The performed in TennoGed guide screens of syandana are seemingly a tips to use this technique. Which software is the best to solve this problem ? I don't have any clue of creating bones for clothes. Really need your help! P.S. All tutorials found by me simply describe the way to animate one sheet of cloth, while my item consits of several materials Metal, braids, hard cloth etc, so it requires pretty much more complicated hierarchy than Izvara cape, for example. Sorry for broken english! Edited May 4, 2017 by Ath4
[DE]Artarrwen
You don't need to set up cloth physics, it's done by DE when the item is accepted. 20 hours ago, Ath4 said: P.S. This isn't recommended, change of weight and complex chains like that are difficult to simulate.

I want those braids in screenshot to be with "spring" effect and the cloth to behave like cloth. Game seemingly has a syandana similiar by behaviour. Is it sure? They will do the animation for me ? lukinu_u
You dont have to rig your Syandana for submitting. Devs will do if it's selected.
