Just for Supra Vandal at the moment, but I hope they revisit those older variants.

It use to be an issue but in one of the past few dev streams they said it was no longer a technical issue and they could make them tintable. So maybe the Supra is the first of it's kind and they'll be going back and making the Vandel and Wraith variants colorable.

It used to be an issue in Closed Beta when you couldn't tint anything at all! They kept it after that because it gave the weapons a unique style.

Well, I hope so. I don't quite like Ignis Wraith's tomato-like color (more like Ignis W-red-th, amirite? ba dum tssh)

After two formas, Suda weapon augment and a half-decent Riven which added a total of 268% damage to it, it is somewhat viable. 

Still sounds like a rapid-fire peashooter, not a heavy armor-piercing machine gun, though. 

At least we can color it to something other than a blow-fly, which is a plus.

Hopefully it also means the materials on some of the previous Vandal/Wraith's will be improved upon as well, like we have with the Supra.

Some have some poor quality PBR going on. More noticeable on the Vandals.

Eh?

It's just an entirely different colour to the default colours like you see on the image icon on the top left. That's the difference. You can change the colours like any other weapon.
