Riven mod 'Damage' parameter is capped at 300 percent

I haven't seen any topic related to Riven 'Damage' parameter cap, so I decided to make one just for informational purpose.

Recently I've got Acrid riven mod with stats:

  • +302.3% Damage
  • +124.2% Toxin

I placed Riven alone on my Acrid and total damage was 313.9 (screenshot below)

Curiosity led me to calculate the stats on a paper.

To begin with, let's take for example a max rank Hornet Strike: +220% Damage and Pathogen Rounds: 90% Toxin. Base damage on Acrid is 35 Toxin.

35 * (1 + 2.20) = 112 damage with only Hornet Strike on. Ok, let's add Pathogen Rounds.
112 * 0.9 = 100.8;
112 + 100.8 = 212.8 total damage with Hornet Strike and Pathogen Rounds, that's correct.

Now let's check the stats with Riven mod only on.

35 * (1 + 3.023) = 140.805
140.805 * 1.242 = 174.87981
140.805 + 174.87981 = 315.68481 ~ 315.7

This calculation shows that the total damage should be around 315.7 while it is 313.9 ...
For 300% Damage and the same Toxin: +124.2% the calculations are as the following:

35 * (1 + 3) = 140
140 * 1.242 = 173.88
140 + 173.88 = 313.88 ~ 313.9 damage, what proves that Riven 'Damage' parameter is capped at 300%

 

Can anyone confirm this?

The stronger disposition, the better stats Riven can get. Cap of 'Damage' still seems to be at 300%

Seems like my rivens are working greatly.

Agree, my sicarus riven works too:

i have angstrum visinak (330,1% damage and 120.9% flight speed).
Angstrum base damage is 425.0 blast damage
(425x3,301)+425=1402,925+425=1827,925
In the weapons statistics it show 1827,0 (this means that the 0,925 is lost RIP in peperoni)

Alright, so it's not capped but apparently there is still a lose in damage. It was just a coincidence for me that I got the shown damage for 300%

The case is how the game calculates the damage and neglects some decimals.

i calculated and then told you that in the arsenal it shows 1827,0. too lazy to upload a screenshot
