ADirtyMonk Posted June 8, 2017 Share Posted June 8, 2017 (edited) I don't like any of the augments. 1) Magnetized discharge: while I dont play Mag, a detonatable, disarming magnetize makes no sense to me. I thought the entire point of the ability was to have enemies damage themselves with their own bullets and to create a sort of safety zone for Mag. 2) Chromatic Blade: This mod feels as though it exists only because it sounds cool. Exalted blade already does absurd (wrecks sortie 3 level enemies) amounts of damage. It really didn't need a mod that effectively converts it into a status/CO version of itself. An EB aug that completely prevents one shots/fatal damage every "x" seconds at no other cost or remove that random mini blind cost or even act as an entirely new stance would have been a lot more useful. 3) Guided Effigy: This would have been a nice aug except for the fact that fully built out Chromas have absolutely no room for an aug that is not god tier, not to mention the standard strength+duration>>>>all else builds means effigy chews through an already limited energy pool that needs to be used to recast vex armor/elemental ward. I really only see this Aug getting used by the niche Effigy credit farming builds and maybe in some low level defense/interception. Bit of a shame. 4) Transistor shield: I'm glad this is a thing. The more people that experience the atrocity that is the riot shield energy cost, the better. Maybe DE will actually do something the sheer idiocy that allowed an ability to have: initial casting cost AND energy/s cost AND energy/distance cost AND is on a timer AND slows the player down AND limits the player to secondaries/melee (despite the shield not working if you are in an enemy's face) if we can get non volt users to scream at them too. Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. I haven't been able to find a rhyme or reason to this, but it definitely should be fixed. I understand it's a visual enhancement, but it breaks immersion watching a Warframe acting like it has claws when it looks more like brass knuckles. LSG501 Posted June 9, 2017 Share Posted June 9, 2017 Since this update I have been in several public groups where I have become stuck in the same spot, I am not hosting. I can run around on the spot but can't do anything else, /unstuck does not work and the only way to fix it is to finish the level (ie others do everything) or alt f4 and hope to get back into the same group via the 'would you like to rejoin old group'. Prior to this update I did not have this issue. It just happened in the gift of lotus event where 2 of the team, myself and another both got stuck. I assume the host had a toaster (another reason why we need to stop toasters being host) because it took an age to join at the start and 2 who started with me didn't manage to load in as they left immediately. I know that the Odonata Prime has been vaulted (I built mine the day before the vaulting), but since when have the bits become suddenly unsellable/untradeable? The way I was proposing his rework could have probably been done in a hotfix. And it would have already improved him exponentially.
