blackheartstar_pc
A good feature I would like to see is for the Orokin Derelict nodes to support something more like joining public. You would still need your Derelict Keys to join each time but if you have keys joining would work just like public on any other node.

Actually, do away with keys and hide new cool mods and weapon bps in cashes and treasure rooms.
NeithanDiniem
And then how do you know whos key is going to get used up? The matchmaking system tries to pick the one with the best connection, thus the person with a good connection will always be getting the short stick and always having to make new keys. No, everyone running this idea of public Derelict will need a key and all keys involved will used up. This is not too give free rides.

yles9056
Just let players play in derelict without needing any keys, but give special rewards to players who brings a key.
DarkFlameZealot
This would also screw over people trying to farm Lephantis while saving resources through keyshares and would also affect missions like Mesa's fight against Salad V. Derelict is the only remembrance to old void keys and should stay as they are due to the setup that corrupted mods and such exist as currently. The system suggested here would be similar to saying you could have one person use their void relic radianted and everyone who joined that pub game, yet didn't equip a relic, would leech the relic reward for free. You missed the point and no. Everyone would have to use a key and all keys would be consumed. Example: If there are currently 3 players in Derelict Survival that means each of those 3 players had a key. Now you see a open squad on that node and click to join. You then have to use a key to join as the fourth member. 14 hours ago, NeithanDiniem said: Then you are multiplying the cost to do the missions by 3, meaning people will dislike it even more at that point. I didn't know people had an issue with or disliked building the keys.
TaylorsContraction
Or how any you craft a key once, and it has unlimited use. Or add unlimited use blueprints as rewards in the respective missions so that you can unlock the nodes permanently after doing the mission a bunch of times. CrazyCatLad
Just get rid of the keys! And allow Extractors to be deployed to the area.

It makes sense the the first few times you need a key, but having an unlimited use key bp as a rare reward on the respective node would make this a more popular place to visit. Furthermore it would make it more likely that derelict alerts will start being a thing. The only way what I'm suggesting is a bad idea is if each time we enter a derelict node it is conceptually a different ship.

We know there are multiple ships from in game descriptions, so it's quite likely that is the case.
