First I thought the Harrow comic would be Umbra-related. But in true Steve-style it is vague and poetic.

I still wonder though. Umbra being darkness, the Void being "blinding night" and what we were actually shown in the comic.

We know the children learned control in their dreams. But they were very much awake in the story. They could use their powers and the adults had gone crazy or worse.

It allso seems there were separate groups and hunting parties roaming the ship, but It's unclear who hunted who.

Then there were the group shutting the door, clearly afraid of what was on the lower levels.

Then there was that line "I haven't figured out what you are yet." About his mother presumably about to kill him.

The kids they found on Zariman were hiding and afraid. These kids seem much more capable.

So what do you all make of it.

Could be the control to hold back from blasting people. As for the adults...clearly something else is going on with them, what with the implied angular, jerky movements from some of the poses. Worse when you wonder how many of them would be asking for others, only to just attempt to shank them.

And we know they could use their abilities, as the Elder Queen asks if how you're using them to fight her were how you used them to hunt and kill your parents.

I suspect it's a bit of both, though in original context the Elder Queen was contrasting the actions of the deranged crew with the children trying to avoid and such.

So far as the group, we know that apparently the children managed to barricade themselves in somewhere safe, as the Queen notes at one point "They had broken through". Could be the door in question.

As for Rell...he seems to be picking up on there being something more going on with it, whilst pretty...comfortable it seems with fighting back. Sure, self defence and defence of others, but still quite a step you'd imagine.

Considering by the time the Zariman was found, they'd had to fight and kill their elders to survive. Logically going to cause some difficulty on trust issues when new ones crop up, let alone how the Orokin probably didn't do anything to foster good will at times.

Fear and caution can appear similar. Then Kaleen rushed in and got blasted for her sentimentality. Maybe.

Survival odds aren't helped by hiding in a corner, mind. Sometimes you've just got to pull together and keep moving.

Knowing Steve, I am suspicios that this comic has greater meaning than we can see for the moment.
