  • Fixed Magnum Force equipped on Castanas modded for multishot resulting in pin-point accuracy. 

Is this change the official statement that the spread on Castanas with multishot is intended? Both the normal and Sancti variant have a listing of 100% accuracy, but a very large spread when the multishot clusters are thrown. The Talons also share the 100% accuracy along with being a part of the same weapon type, but suffer no spread with multishot. Again, is this change the official statement that the spread on Castanas with multishot is intended? Is the spread from multishot specifically intended to be on the Castanas and not the Talons? Or will the Talons also be sharing this accuracy loss in a future update? These contradicting performances, but identical accuracy stats are very confusing and verification on their status would be much appreciated.

The update looks excellent! I have none but one thing to talk about and that is global chats availability in missions. General toxicity is on rise, people name & shame their squadmates, talking about the mission in global chats as if there are no one but their squadmates in chat and many more. I beg you to revert the change, it was not a good idea.

PS as a mod: I'd rather relax and focus on objective rather than keeping an eye on global chats in missions as well.

Earth looks great but sadly (and much as I feared) I will avoid missions there at all costs even if that means missing out on sorties and if this is what we are looking forward I might just have to start considering quitting the game at some point if this is the trend. There was only 2 tiles on Earth where I got bad performance dips that made me go below 40fps from the usual 60 or at least 50+, both tiles were the sabotage tiles and the issue seemed to be the sabotage machine that was for some reason causing performance drops. Now? I've seen it drop below 30FPS for the first time on solo, I only ever got that on a party of 4 a few times and required a ton of powers going and one of them being Octavia's 3rd power because that still makes performance drop too much, at some point I even got it to drop below 20FPS which I never saw it doing in all the years I've played the game, but now it's pretty much the norm if I want to play on Earth, which I won't because it's just frustrating to do so now, it's just not fun to deal with a laggy mess. Display options do nothing, we didn't get options for the grass or anything as was previously said, after messing around only got 1 FPS from changing options, not really worth changing just for that.

If anything it does look good but the looks barely have an impact on gameplay so I can't really say that it was worth the change.

 

In short, if you happen to be on the low end, Earth now is a place to avoid at all costs and no longer is fun to play there.

 

Meanwhile I dunno if they changing something but other tilesets now seem to be running even better now which is weird and funny since now I can't play on Earth.

 

Overall it looks like a good update, but now I can't but feel sad since the future looks grim for me. Oh well, not like a single digit matters anyway.

I'm in the exact same situation ... What's going on ??? Please ... Now you're game is ruined for those with low configuration, we can't hit the 60s FPS since the update in most zone, and the freezing are unbearable it's every 20 second.

I've only barely scratched the surface of this update so far, but wanted to say THANK YOU DE for all the hard work you guys do.

Immediately jumped into an excav on Earth to experience the remaster. It's gorgeous, guys. Really loving all the extra details that were added and the new lighting gives a sort of damp, foggy atmosphere to the missions. I haven't experienced any performance issues with the remaster, so I'll be sure to keep an eye out.

The first communication and opening mission for CoH was amazing. Loved the suspense of a blacked out galleon and nothing but a flashlight. It had me feeling nostalgic of Warframe when I joined back around U7 and the ambush actually gave me a jumpscare. Haven't finished the quest but looking forward to playing more!

Dual wield is a ton of fun and I love the way it looks. Many thanks for the secondary buffs that came with this feature. No issues so far and will be looking forward to seeing how it evolves when more weapons get added to the system.

Overall, very pleased so far! Keep up the great work!

This U21 earth remastered update has made the game unplayable for me, simply my screen froze or crashed at the password login screen. It is not about frame rate drops but the game is totally unable to start at all. I think it is as experienced by many players, the earth remastered has caused severe performance issues for many. Sadly for me, it is totally unable to start the game at all.

I have sent a ticket and awaiting response. I have also started a thread here: 

I think I am not the one who cannot play the game at all now because this seems to be some ram or memory issue which me and many others are always having regarding the relays. DE is aware of the relay problem.

For those who experienced low frame rate, you all are blessed to even being able to play unlike us who cannot even start the game. So stop complaining.

Been trying to get the stupid imperator vandal receiver from the fomorians AGAIN... and now I'm not even getting a reward... had four runs which didn't even give me the 400 endo. 

Took my disruptor, had damage showing but got didly squat for running the mission and it's not a host issue because it happened in both group and solo runs.... way to go DE... as if we weren't struggling enough already with your stupid drop rates for the receiver we now can add in NOTHING as a reward... which I've had more times than the receiver ironically.

Can I assume it's a bug and what I should have received was a receiver...and I'll get an in game message with my reward.... nah who am I kidding.

Happening to me too, did 3 runs in a row with no rewards whatsoever. Everything was fine before U21, so please look into it (otherwise, RIP Orcus).

Yep, I noticed hat too.

Also I can't find a Commander Simaris target, but I'm not sure if it's a bug or if the thing's just really elusive. I can't find them were they used to be before the update anyway.

 

Other than that, the quest was great (except the final fight, that was just annoying to me), Earth looks fantastic, and the weapon buffs are awesome !

balor fomorian is not giving rewards at the end of the mission... had 4/5, both solo and in groups, not give anything, not even endo.  It's hard enough as it is to get the receiver to drop as it is... we don't need add no reward into the mix.   Ironically I've had more results with no rewards in the last few hours than I have receivers (still stuck at 0 thanks to the stupidly low drop rate) since the start of the event which is what 3 days now....

EDIT oh and another bug found in formorian but I assume it happens elsewhere.  The syandana turns comically long/stretched out after using sprint boost.

EDIT 2: happening far too frequently now... On leaving a mission and returning back to ship you end up stuck at the navigation panel, unable to move anywhere or do anything except move the mouse pointer and open menu.  You can move around ship again after you've hit the hamburger menu with the mouse, gone back into navigation (it breaks completely if you go to foundry for example) and then exit that. 

Bit annoying to need to do all the extra steps.

Damage falloff on secondary shotguns is effectively a nerf given their huge pellet spreads.  Primary shotguns have tight spreads, with consistent pellets on target at long ranges.  My tigris is one of my best snipers.  Secondary shotguns have enormous pellet spread, meaning only a fraction of their pellets hit a target that's beyond melee range.  That's effectively damage fall off.  Adding falloff to each individual pellet just makes the falloff more extreme.

I just want to talk about something that I've been noticing and I'm a bit worried about new warframes: the lack of user information about where to farm for his parts.
I'm a player that always read the patch notes, hotfixes and updates when they are released, so I know about this information and I can share with my friends when they ask. But since patch notes are not an obligatory part of the game experience, a lot of players have no idea where to go and what to do (and they are not wrong). The game itself lacks to communicate to the player where you can find something. "Just search in the wiki", someone can say. No. A successful game is the one who guide the player without any site or page outside the experience of the game (and Warframe has a lot of space for this to happen).
This can even apply to older warframes and wich boss you need to kill in order to drop a specific warframe. This problem intensifies much more with the release of Harrow and his parts scattered everywhere. There is zero guides, zero hints or an UI element indicating "This mission can drop: Harrow Chassis Blueprint" or something similar. Want a easy way to solve this? Make Ordis send an email like this:

I see you got a new and exquisite blueprint [referring to the Harrow blueprint given at the end of the quest] on your foundry, my systems were able to track his component parts on the Solar System for your convenience. You can thank me later.
The Harrow System Blueprint was tracked on the Defection mission type. Go evacuate at least 8 groups of allies to get this part.
The Harrow Neuroptics Blueprint is hidden on the Kuva Fortress. As a Spy, you need to retrieve all the 3 data to get this part, careful Operator.
And the Harrow Chassis Blueprint... the track is corrupted, but I my sensors say that you need to kill all the enemies corrupted by the Void Fussures. KILL THEN ALL!
I wish you good luck, Operator. Return safe. 

I know that is not something easy to solve, but I hope the game could evolve in the future to be more transparent and informative to all the players.

In the new game mode Defection there is a progression stopping bug relating to Host Migration.

I joined a public match that had just started. Just before we were successfully escorting the first or second patch of Defectors to the Extraction Host Migration happened.

Everything seemed fine at first. Rest of the Defectors continued to extract and we (2 of us left in mission) proceeded with the mission. Next patch of Defectors spawned and started to run towards Med Towers (A,B,C).

The BUG was that the NEW door opening a next section for the Defectors to spawn from refused to open.

The Defectors just ran their faces at the closed door that was supposed to be open thus unable to ever reach the next Med Tower. We had not yet reached to point of allowed Extraction so we were forced to Abort the mission since the Defectors couldn't die or be rescued. They just were behind a bugged out door that would never open.

I am having the same performance issues as fellow players above me. I have a pretty lower end PC, but it shouldn't be this bad. Not only earth, but having fps drops on other planets/tilesets. Could we get this problem sorted out as soon as possible? The game crashing every 5 minutes is certainly not fun. (Although it can be only my PC.)
