Zenistar charge attack sometimes doesn't throw disc

I've had a few missions lately where I only had Zenistar equipped, and the disc was not already out, but the charge attack did not launch the disc.
I held E, it did the launch animation, but the disc was not launched, the timer at top was not started, etc. Repeated 8x or so, nothing.

Launching the disc earlier in the mission worked, but then it stopped.
I was not host, ping around 300, occurred during kuva missions twice that I remember.

If you throw a zen disk at a grineer rubber cover/ atlas rock cover then the disk will return to you.

The same can done with war frames using grenade like abilities like vauban/octavia. But you lose energy and the ability is never used.

Thanks, but this is throwing at open air in an outdoor corpus map.
