Melee riven and Jat Kusar

Hello everyone:

I'm on PS4 and have 2 veiled melee riven in my collection.  I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the weapon of a riven is determined at the point I'm awarded from the mission (sortie) or at the point I unveil it.  With Jat Kusar being release on PC today and later on the consoles, I want to hold off on unveiling my melee rivens until after the update to have a chance at that weapon.  Not sure if it will work...

The Riven output is entirely random.

Until this is proven otherwise, I will stand with this presumption.

Until acted against, a force acting upon a body will move it in the direction desired.

It's randomized when unveiled, so stacking veiled Riven and unveil them when a new weapon come out is a solution.

If you're on PS4, you'll have to wait a while before the Jat Kusar comes out for console.
