I've farmed an unreasonable amount of kuva and am generally decent at it, but I usually avoid siphons on Eris because of poor placement and poor visibility.

On most other tiles the kuva appears 50m away or more, but in some of the cramped infested hallways it spawns 20m away or less, which doesn't give you much time to find it.
These hallways are also dark and filled with red particles, which makes it difficult to even see the kuva cloud.

This kuva cloud was barely visible:

The braids were also excessively dark

Others have far too much red to see the kuva, e.g.

Though sometimes it's hard to see it on Corpus tiles when there's barely any red or black to it:

And sometimes it's mostly black with a tiny hint of red:

Some should be intentional so you don't get the kuva so easily. Else who would put a siphon at such a narrow hallway in one of eris map? lol

A terrible, terrible person :)

Narrow hallways are fine, but at least spawn at the usual distance instead of within a couple seconds of the siphon. Also, make it easier to see.

I would add kuva stucking into objects on Europa. That tileset makes kuva beautifully visible, but it gets stuck too often on the wreckage.

That is a feature. It gives your kavat plenty of time to try for a x2 buff. Once your kavat rng-ed the x2 buff, go get that last stuck kuva.

Wait... oh no! you revealed the stuck kuva situation.... now DE will fix it and the chances of getting the x2 buff will be ruined for everyone....

Well, I prefer to play more missions than turning to "where's waldo" game.

I always hated Kuva Siphons on Infested Corpus Ship Tile Sets (not as much as Ceres and it's "Literally spawned half a Kilometer OFF the beaten/mission path" BS, but still) cause it becomes immediately clear there that the Kuva Clouds are just recycled Infested Environmental Effect/Aura Clouds, and because of this and low lighting they're VERY had to see.

It would be like if they instead made the blood white, and the Kuva Clouds were recycled from Snow Particles, and they tried setting them up on open area Cold Planet maps. If they did that then they'd immediately fix it somehow to make them more visible. As it stands.....they just don't wanna, I think. "It's just the Riven Try-Hards. Who cares about there little issues and whines."

For one of the hallways I don't even waste time looking for the cloud anymore.
When the braid lifts I dash in the direction it faces twice, which generally hits the cloud. If I actually look for the cloud I'll sometimes miss it.

Did u try to use gamma settings for these dark tiles?

Can try running them solo and pausing to adjust settings and check whether anything helps.
Current display settings:

The red floaters in infested tiles make it hard to see the kuva in some spots.
Ran this mission solo with settings on the default High.

Before the kuva spawned, to see the comparison

Spawned and present in the corridor, but can't really see it

A little closer, still can't see it in the photo but there was a faint hint of movement

There it is, just barely

I agree. I had a grineer mission where the kuva would spawn literally right next to the siphon. It was impossible to grab the kuva from that angle. It was in the room that has a cargo tram in it and only one way in or out. The siphon was next to the tram, and gyre kuva would spawn in the right side of the tram, you'd hear it for less than a second and then it was gone. Kuva spawns do need some workings.
